johnie i'll need to add a text fade in with most of these bitmaps showing in the background. Where does that fit in on you list up above?
Two ways to do this
1 Use the text effects library-fastest method. Go to the frame you want it to start at and then add the text effect making sure that you set it to end on the frame that you want it to.
2. Type your text into the first frame as text. Then copy and paste it into the next frames until you want it to end. On the ending frame select your text and set the color to transparancy to 255. Use the play with the tweens to adjust the speed.
Make sure that the text is above the bitmap layers.
Oops, almost forgot. Can I use the same mask throughout the whole movie, or do I have to make a new on for each bitmap. All of the bitmaps will be the same size (the full size of the movie).
And how do I switch the second bitmap in and get rid of the first? Thanks
I recomend[recommend- I can't spell] it.
Just make sure that the mask is on the 2'nd to the bottom layer and the Bitmaps are bellow it.
The layering is controled in the shapes- send forward, send backward, send to back, and send to front menu.
