Flash footers are soooooo dangerouououous :)
Please remove the bit below mods, if you think this will give people bad ideas:
The easiest way for flash to cripple a browser is to have 2 frames, in frame 1 you have, open url in frame 2 you have goto and play 1.
But I mean that area of abuse has existed within the flash player since version 3 I think...
Anywho... just some more information to ponder!
I don't think it's a virus. A couple of other boards I use also have disabled .swf content because there is a way to steal cookies through an .swf (very rude and not great for board security). I would guess the reason is the same here.Quote:

i hate it when people screw a good thing up like interactive flash footers with their cookie stealing and viruses.

But it doesnt seem to work in this one.
I was just thinking you could load middleware scripts through the loadvariables action and that could cause a lot of problems.
