a
sorry aria, i dont see any support for england in the world cup here in scotland. most people are supporting ireland. and i don't see england getting anywhere near the final (france or spain i say).Quote:
Id like to know if Scots and Welsh for that matter will be supporting England in this world cup
i can't stand watching the soccer on tv when the english comentaters are on, i'm sure if england scored an own goal they would still spend half an hour complimenting it. we hear people on tv saying england are almost certain to win, i would like to see them put their money where their mouth is and put their life savings on it (if they're so sure why don't they???). i say england don't even reach the quater finals.
the english coverage of the chanpions league final was apauling. i was in glasgow and the pre game parties were amazing but none of the opening ceremony or partying was shown. personally i'm glad itv is going down the tubes.
anyway, the mtb world cup is on in fort william this weekend - i'm watching that instead (but i bet it's not on tv until the most obscure hour possible).
ps: i call it soccer since i was born in australia where football is a totally different game.
