you're right, i don't want to hijack the thread either, but please, let's stick to facts.

last I checked the U.S. didn't use nuclear bombs to oust a terrorist regime from a country. and i never implied that India shouldn't do anything.

i brought up the subject because someone made a joke about how he or she cringes that Bush has the authority to launch a nuclear attack, whereas that fear would be much more appropriate if it was focused on the events in Pakistan and India---and I stated that without supporting the Hindus or the Muslims, or the Pakistanis or the Indians.

i understand the situation, i only asked the question because you said that the US should be worried about India atacking them with nukes.

nothing seems to indicate that's a possibility.

George Jr. Was over in England earlier this year dealing with the John Ashcroft appointment, so he asked the Queen how she settled on Tony Blair.
She replied "It is simple, I asked him a question and if he got it right he would be my choice."
She continued that she asked him "If your Mother and Father had a child and it was not your brother and not your sister who would it be?"
He responded with "It is I Tony Blair."
So George takes this strategy home with him and asks John Ashcroft the same question.
His response was to ask for some time to think about it.
John goes running down the hall and ask Colin Powell the question.
Colin Powell replies "It is I Colin Powell."
John goes back down the hall to George and says "It is Colin Powell!"
Gearge just hangs his head and says "No you idiot the answer is Tony Blair!"
