thats such a school yard joke.
Okay here is a hard one, but it's been around for a while so some people probably already know the answer.
The local police discover a man's dead body found alone in a barren field. The ground surrounding the body is covered in snow, yet there are no tracks leading to or from the deceased.
From every bit of evidence it is apparent that the dead body appeared out of nowhere.
However upon a quick examination of the body, the police are able to conclude that the contents of the backpack worn by the deceased were responsible for the man's death...
What was in the backpack.
a parashute :DQuote:

and I never even heard the riddle!
reminds me of a story about a charred body that was found on the site of a forrest fire. The bodies lungs were filled with salt water and police were baffled. They then realised that planes had been taking big scoops of water from the coast and dumping them on the forest fire. The bloke got scooped and dumped with the water.
yes your right it was an unopened parachute. This was a question in the mindtrap board game, they had it worded a bit better but, congratulations!
got any more?
I'm in the zone
not really... um how about.

EACH LETTER REPRESENTS A NUMBER BETWEEN 0 AND 9 TO INCLUDE 0 AND 9. NO TWO LETTERS CAN HAVE THE SAME VALUE. SO YOU HAVE TO ADD THEM LIKE A MATH PROBLEM.
3) You have 3 piles of pennies in 8 rows. They add up to 9 each way, across and down. It's a square with nothing in the middle. You get 4 more pennies. Total of 28 pennies. Arrange the pennies in 8 rows to equal 9 every way that you can add them. You can take pennies away from a pile or add to the piles and the number of pennies in each pile do not have to be the same. For example you can have a pile of 2,and a pile of 3, and so forth. But they have to add up to 9, across, down and vertically if needed. They can be put in any shape. It does not have to be a square. You have to use all 28 pennies.
4) What has a neck and no head
5) Here on earth it is true, yesterday is always before today; but there is a place where yesterday always follows today. Where?
I don't even have all the answers but I'm working on it
I didn't get at all the pennies thing...
I'm working on the math thing...
I don't know any americans... :)
4) A Bottle
5) In the dictionary
