I played it once, but I guess I played it by the time Aversion said it was down all the time... It was an awful lag, and it really annoyed me... It ran perfectly well in my video card, Nvidia GeForce 4 128 megs.
And by the way, has anyone ever played Operation ********** over the net? Its a war game too, Cold War in fact, and its pretty cool to be played in the web even tough its pretty hard, I got kileld as soon as I came out of the chopper he he he...
operation ********** used to be one of my favourite games, that also required a lot of thinking and was pretty realistic, though the graphics weren't that good the playing area was literally the size of a small country, so you could forgive them a few pixels! You could walk across it, hop in a car and drive across it, hop in a helicopter and fly across it, even hop in a jet and jet across it :D
one of the best parts was that new missions could be made by other players quite easily and downloaded of the net, and because they were only scripting the files were usually no more than 20k unless they included new sounds/music.
it was fun planning missions as leader too, you give all the commands. One of the early missions was to ambush a russian convoy, so you would set up all your troops and when the trucks were in position set of the mines in the road and give the order to open fire. It was always very satisfying to see a plan come together.
Hmmm...hitman 2 doesn't come out till this fall? :confused:

Yeah ********** its pretty realistic, Its hard to comunicate with your superiors and also focus in firing at the pointed soldiers...
Another good game for PC available for net playing was Medal Of Honor Allied Assault, the AI of the enemy soldiers was pretty good, I mean, they rolled, jumped and some other cool stuff.
Aversion, let me know when you play ********** to join, Im pretty lame at that game in the net he he he, I want to see someone play wihtout shooting me :D
