what i'm planning:
at the begining, you can choose 3 different places of the planet: easy, medium, hard.
> then when finished, score is added and recorded (shared objects?), and each time you can re-enter the level to improve your score.
> about baddies, there's no baddy apart meteorites, so no, you just have to escape and rescue.
^ it may be a good idea. not for the file size though :-(

??? the news section is updated, plus the game is on the first page. strange you cannot access it even after clearing your cache?
-
..wow .. marmotte that's great :) .. can't wait to play it again :D
-
 OK, i cleared both caches (including the stupid copies that our network creates), rebooted my comp, went to your site again, and i still see no change.
So sorry marmotte, i'm a great fan and would love to try this game but our LAN must be doing something dodgy - it has been playing up a bit lately... Sorry!
Is there any chance you could post the direct link to the page sometime? I've got to go for a few hours anyway, so no rush, but hopefully when i get back i can be amazed with your silky smooth gaming skills once more.. "^^" :D

!!! congratulations!
(i see you are using the brightness function ^^)

good looking stuff! btw, did u tile based scrolling this time, or are you moving a whole jpeg again?
-
btw, I like the cool Matrix effect u implemented when the game gets hard!
-
dJide
this is not tile based. this is not a whole gif ^^
it's a MC that is scrolling; and when it moved one screen._height, it's replaced to it's original _y position, with a nextFrame() (next graphics).
about the matrix effect, it must be ingame slowdowns ^^

BUG ;)
Not a big one just a little ;)
Dont shoot anything. Just run into the first rock you see.
Then when the scores adding press space to skip watching it add up.
Look at your score... Lots of 0's

what can I say this is an awsome idia

Eighter that or, someone distracted my and I died at the first dumb rock that came my way. Then was so pissed i was ready to play again and started smashing the keyboard....
you decide.

marmotte - amazing!
I love this game already. Graphics are classic, gameplay is smooth and it's difficult enough for me to come back for more. Nothing wrong that i can find.
Contrast control was a nice touch too :)
Is this the final release of this game yet? Or almost? I think a little sound could help, but not alot, too much will ruin it, and you dont want big filesize anyway... having said that it's fine so far without sound to be honest.
Would a small "final boss" not be good? I think so.. it's nice to be given the chance to completely "beat" it, not just trying to beat your score... although keeping them in SharedObjects would be nice for when you complete the game and want to improve. There doesnt have to be a huge boss at each level, just one final one. and one more little gif inst going to change the filesize by much.
But then what would the boss be - it's an asteroid accident... or was it?? :D
Anyway, just some random thoughts. Whatever you decide i'm sure it'll be just as good as it is now.
**Bow's down in the direction of marmotte in repect**

wot's SharedObjects?
It's flash MX's built in save format, allowing you to save the values of variables etc to a text files on the users computer, so next time you can reload them. Like cookies for internet browsers.

cool, Im still using Flash 5, sigh. So what's the syntzx for these things?
