I don't think (human) logo designers have anyhting to worry about either.
Ultimately I think there are enough clients out there who won't trust the approach adopted by LogoYes. They'd much prefer to kick about some poor designer bod any day of the week, I reckon.
And I'm a little put out by the 'graphic designers (who must guess what you'll like)' statement - About Us page, bottom right.

The movement in the Sample Logos section got really annoying after a short time.
Cool site and idea but I would be concerned about giving my credit card details on what appears to be a non secure server.

It is a very good idea. My P3 667Mhz with 256MB on Firebird was causing the Flash to bottleneck. I think it's time to upgrade to a Mac.

Sorry to be rude. I usually ignore the typical poser, wise a@@ remarks but this warrants a reply. I haven't checked my posts in a while and saw this no-brain comment from a guy whose existing site is an Eric Jordan clone from 4 years ago (can't even keep up with the trend in rips...). If you havent noticed my "personal" site has not been updated in over 2 years and most of the brands, and anything else on the site for that matter, are mostly pro-bono work that I put together. Regardless, in no way does it deserve a nasty comment from a guy who has no qualifications to back them up, especially from someone who has awards listed in his news section that HE applied to get and everyone gets for knowing how to type on a keyboard...lol. I could do a UX Audit on your existing site and rip it to shreds with about 10 pages of needed comments and edits. But do I do it...no, because every designer has to find their way. Whether they are good or bad because it makes us better as professionals and as people. I would love for you to go up to an employee (know you do not have any but bear with me) and tell them the comp they just spent two days putting together for a client sucks...you would last about two days in business but thats why you are where you are. Anyway, I am not a rude person and usually do not waste my valuable time dealing with sub-bar designers with chips on their shoulders but once in a while you have to let it rip...;) No-Tec...a word of advice, focus on your work, strive to listen,learn and improve and you will one day "get it"...
On the splashpage it says over 200mghz pc, well im sitting in school at 1,6 and it lags not much but you can notice that it lags a bit. Shouldent they change it to maybe 600+ ? The site is nice, dont like the logos.
Staying on topic. The site is very well done, hits the points and really sells the product well. I think the demo is killer.
Slightly off topic. Their market is the guy who just wants something to put on letterhead and get on with business. Designers have nothing to fear from this company as these guys wouldn't pay for a personal design anyway, we'd never see their money so it's not loss.
Regarding clip-art: Since they have a finite number of "logos" and fonts it is, by definition, clip-art. That is, you pick one from column A and one from column B and Go! I don't think there's anything wrong with clip-art by the way, I've used it from time-to-time myself to get the job done. It looks like you've got a quality product, good luck.
Off-off topic: I don't think cheap shots are necessary.
That site is one of the greatest ideas I have seen in a while. I just love how 2A expands into many different medias. Great idea ant real nice design; however, it did lag a bit on my comp. I've got a 3.06GHz with a gig of ram, but then again, I had Premier, After Effects, and Encore running at the time. :D Anyway, great site and nice design. Go 2A! :doughnut:
Great site, no doubt. The logos are great too.
Although one thing sets the actual idea off. The logos dont brand the company, neither do provide a unique image. I am sure a respectable CEO will do anything to run into another company with the same logo, that both firms might have chosen from logoYes.

just thought i'd mention 2Advanced was approached with this project, they didn't suddenly decide to "expand into many different media." However, this was the first time something like this has ever been done and they did a great job of developing a system through which a business owner with little-to-no computer knowledge can create a great looking logo.Quote:

don't give them credit for coming up with the idea, give them credit for being able to approach and implement this idea better than most developers could have ever done. While Eric is great, most of the credit for this site should go to Tony since its built on such a great backend.
