Yes, I’m using v4.2.5. Looks like I’ll just have to live with it until something is figured out. I really like the software and will continue to use it; the conveniences are far greater than the inconveniences.
The first delete puts the deleted frame into the undo/redo buffer. The second delete destructs pointers associated with the first frame and puts the second frame into the undo/redo buffer. It would be interesting to see if other things which trigger pointer destruction cause a crash for you.
Draw 2 shapes. Delete the first shape. Delete the second shape. Does that work OK?
Also, screen capture the screen before you just before press the frame delete after you have added the 10 frames, make a gif and email to me. I want to see what is there. Also send the me first info from the Windows crash popup screen.
You might try upgrading you video card drivers from the web site of your video card maker. I once let Microsoft upgrade my drivers and I had weird crashing problems as a result.
Bob has replicated my error and has figured out a work around, closing the Movie Overview Window fixes the problem.
Thanks again everyone for your help.
The fix will be present in the next version to be released later this week.
