MarkP - LOTR is boring. Frodo is a wuss that really needs his ass kicked. As for the special effects, anyone with a budget like that could do it. Nothing special and wasted on such... yawn.... boring books!

I can't believe that there's a conversation about how good or bad Godzilla movies were - just the Toho Japanese ones... the American one is easily forgotten.

It's supposed to be campy. I mean... c'mon. You can actually see the zipper in some movies.

But it's a good kind of bad. The kind that after a few beers and at 3am in the morning, it's as amusing as it needs to be.

I love Godzilla.

LOL. That reminds me of this old western. Pretty good movie, right up to the last scene. Two guys on the side of a hill, doing the old fast draw on each other. And right over the shoulder of the good guy was a jet contrail up there in the sky. Sheeese, what a let down.

Well they acually filmed all three of the movies at the same time so they were taking a HUG risk on spending all that money

I thought LOTR's first two installments were gr8 but the 3rd one was a bummer. Nobody realised that souron was never shown! That put me off. I am eagarly awaiting for 'the revenge of the sith' now.

Van Helsing was crap. Putting all past horror stories into one? sheeeesh...I thought stephen sommers' past movies mummy and mummy returns were oputdated and down right boring.
