I'm seriously liking that last image of yours. Very futuristic looking and great monochromatic feel to it. Like EVP said maybe a little less darkness on that bottom/middle right corner imho.

I like what you were attempting there on your last volley. But the text is almost floating. Next time if you mess with the curve effects for text you can probably get it to fit right in with the paper also I feel that the text may have been a little small. But what do I know, for all I know that is probably the effect you desired. Nice return though.

thanks nep the text was place more as a filler. Probably should have just posted the image itself but felt it needed to have a home and the notebook worked. The text seems to have become a hangup i actually didnt want it to distract. bah ill do betta on the next one.

lol im kinda freaking out today i have had like 2 people come in contact with me here at work (everyone is off at a sale the company is holding, left me here to hold down the fort) normally i have to put a chair in front of the door to keep people away. not that this has anything to do with the image but like i said low human contact today

Love the note book pea :) The space on the left is used really well. And frogs lol - kool

Great job littlematt! You did a wonderful job of overlaying the vector over the garage door. I'm loving the door as well. I'll have something up shortly.

Alright well here's what happened. I was working on an image (#1 below) but in working on it I came to really like only a section of it (#2 below). Now I would just post #2 but I think they are both worthy so you get to pick.

Man someone just came in and said photo #2 resembled something. I didn't notice till they said it but I guess so does a lighthouse. So anyway, lay off the cracks it was very much nonintentional. (c: Bad thing is I didn't even pay attention to the xxx bah I stared at the text quite a bit to get the highlights and it never dawned on me bah.

Ok I had to change it. Started bugging me.

Number 2 looks very nice mate! Would be kool if it had more of a macro feel to it, bluring out the background for example.

Hey thanks for the suggestion. Just wanted to show how it came out after the blur. Yeah it probably isnt as blurred as you were talking but I likes.

Blurred or not, its still a good image.

You know for someone that stated the above, you've been putting out some great images. I can't wait to see what i'm up against next.

BTW IMHO Photo retouching is alot tougher than this stuff to an extent. Product photo retouching is in a category of its own. I hate it when you can get finishes to match in 9 of the 10 item photos but that bloody 10th one just doesn't cooperate.

Thanks a lot :) I think it makes all the difference having a reason to do something. Like I say I haven't needed to do anything creative in Photoshop for ages. I'm really enjoying this so far.

H Crap I bloody love that image. This has become one of my favorite battles. I love the balance of everything in that image. Your text is beautiful along with the decorative addition. You did a great job not over doing the glow Really nice. You dropped my jaw. I'll have something up asap. I'm busy right now at work but should have something to you by this afternoon.
