Ok with Wilburts I have 6 full size images. And I've been collecting your Avatars for a collage. Still need a few more.
Very nice work Wilbert! I think you draw just fine in KM. Nice artistic work you seem to come up with ;)
If Blanius uses one as a avatar collage that leaves us with only 5. If no one else offers, a few of us might have to draw a second. Although I hope others submit, I like to see everyones work.
After viewing my pic some more I noticed it was missing something. An eye for the invisible man. Sorry, but here's an update Blanius. :D
Forgot to count Tmoore's so I have 7. Still need a few more.
Next Year,,,, The KOOl Kalendar. We can tie Bob to the front page and write action script all over him.

Now if you remember that it was my obnoxious post that started all of this, then I would ask everyone to STOP for a sec and start thinking of the fact that a calander in mid March is not really in the way of things,,, unless you celebrate the Martian new year. I would suggest that we open a thread and submit viable JPEG,s or GIF,s throughout the coming year and in september or october we can vote for the best for each month. That will give time for online production and hard copy (printed and posted production) before the year ends.
I would suggest a price on printed production that would include any profits being sent to a charity of OUR choice, Cancer research etc.
I would also suggest that the submitted entries have a seasonal theme (NOT jingle Bells) but a continuity throughout the year that the general public can identify with.
Hey William. I was setting up at Cafepress and was going to set price for no profit, but we could add a bit for a charity if everyone felt strongly about that.
While this would make getting them out quick, it'll be Feburary before I'd even get to look at it again, so while This was a good idea it may very well be too late to really get it going. I'll keep the stuff submitted so far and if we can get it together for 07 then we'll see.
I wanna see what Koolmoves has in store. Bob mentioned some upcoming changes and my hope is that will include a full forum for us all. We are as powerful (more actually) as Swishmax and think the forum will ALWAYS be the center of our universe. It is where people head for help first and foremost. Trouble is Bob and Wilbert are creating a powerful monster that we all are trying to support stuffed into one forum section.
If any kind of drive...be it a calender or Koolmoves website donations or any other Kolmoves community effort that is meant to generate revenue for the benefit of the community is going to be a part of the new ways Koolmoves plans on updating how things are done...I will fork over whatever it takes and not give a darn how much Koolmoves marks it's cost up. Nope...I would instead chuckle everytime I look at my Koolmoves calender on the wall and feel good knowing I was a part of something larger ....right before I head off to our slamming forum ;)
For years...when I wanted to post a Flash thread I could expect to see the word Flashkit in the browser url window while I was posting. When Swishmax I could expect to see Swishzone it the url window. I want to see the words "koolmoves.com" when I am posting about this awesome application. Sold right there and supported right there. It deserves it's own world.
(I'm right now daydreaming of spending all my time in the "Scripting and Backend" section of the fully featured Koolmoves forum. Don't you dare wake me up !)
Hi Chris,
First of all I want to make clear Bob is the programmer of KoolMoves. I'm just a user that has provided and will provide some code at times :)
As for the forum, I agree it would be a good idea if the KM website would have it's own forum. The KM website is the first thing people visit when they want to try or buy KM. It would also make it possible to have different sections for news, showcase, bug reports, scripting etc. Also if ever in future there will be a light version or other products it would be good if they would have their own forum section. Of course it's up to the KM team if they will include a forum since it also would need someone to moderate it.
Wilbert
Of course. I meant no disrespect. Your components are such a large part of my world I lump you two part and parcel and shouldn't.Quote:

I know in my head there are other Lucky Monkey members but without them being part of the surroundings I tend to lean on you two as voices of authority and I guess I've scripted a mental visual of you two humped over monitors coding together.
I mean no disrespect to the Lucky Monkeys I don't know as well. ;)
