Randomly join objects

Hopping im not abusing... i will post a last question!

If the objects are real movies instead of 1 frame objects,
giving the alpha= 0/Alpha=100 solution, won´t make it happen.

Can i put a blank (stopped) frame in each movieclip and order the movies to play the same way i order the the objects to alpha=100

Well if each of the movieclips will have an animation , put a stop(); action on the first frame so that they wont play.

Then when you set their alpha = 100; , tell that movieclip to gotoAndPlay(2); so it'll animate :)

Actually, you wouldn't have to set their alpha at all. Put a blank keyframe with a stop action as the first frame, and then have the animation start from the second frame. Then you won't even need to have anything to do with alpha and you'll get the result you want.

I tried your code and i got a script error..something like
"some script is making your pc run slow...if you dont close/stop that script your pc will become unresponsive"

I tried to change his code still with random and non-repeating, adding the goto and play 2 but... i can´t make it happen

Well you simply have to add the gotoAndPlay(2); here:

Just be sure to put a stop(); action at the end of the movieclips animation so it doesnt' jump back around.

I think DeVulf's method would be a better choice though if you can get it working as it most likely be more cleaner and professional. But we all have our methods :)
