Best Flash Game ?

They don't even share any graphic similarities.

While if you compare Squares2 and the Apple game:

Apple: Grow as big as possible by eating the apples (which are good for you) and avoiding the cakes (which Cookie Monster tells me are only good in moderation now.. >_< ). Score is displayed in the center and objects come from the sides.

I definitely see the differences, as well as the similarities. I just wouldn't say they are two completely different games. I'd say pac man and missile command are two completely different games. Blobber, Squares 1 & 2, Katamari Damacy and any others.. share some very distinct similarities that I'd say definitely make them not completely different games.

Being level based as opposed to just continuous doesn't really create a huge difference in my mind, since the core gameplay itself is very similar.


Thanks for leading me to these games, cause they are really fun. Katamari is one of my all-time favorite games, so I am really enjoying these.

It takes a LOT more effort and programming skills to pull off something like that in Flash and have it run smoothy than other languages...

May be we need to create a thread to post BEST Flash games ever? I think it will be interesting and FlashKit games forum will be the best place for it. Personally today i have some blog on russian community site called NNM (noname) where i post news on IMHO best Flash games and i have pretty much readers. What do you think ppl?

Lolz. I see what you mean by Best Flash Game, it is a technilogical acheivement noo doubt, but for me,I jsut HATE those controls :(
Just a personal thing I guess. I also find Raiden X... I dunno.. Mundane? I'd prefer the N-Game. So much to do, so little time!

I don't like the idea of a best flash games sticky, better keep the forum for discussion and help between gamedev's. Allthough I'm only visiting this forum for a half year now, I understand that there's a certain kind of knowledge-level connected to this forum and I try not to ask total stupid questions (I'll ask them in the actionscript-forum :) ). I'm afraid a great list of links to the best flashgames ever will pollute this pages with stupid questions in the end because such a thread attracts people of all kinds (eventually people who don't even know what flash is).

If you guys are interested in playing more and better flashgames than you encounter on every popular site today, pay a daily visit to the following pages/blogs:

Jay's blog is good but there are lot of games which made in Shockwave and Javascript.
Besides this he publish a lot of "just good games" not "Best ones" :)

I believe that there aren't too much Flash games we can called "Best Flash games ever" and most of them can't be found on portals such "MiniClip", "ArmoredGames", "BattleGrounds" and others.

I don't think youcan ever label a Flash Game "Best Flash Game Ever" It's just impossible. Too much preference and opinion surrounds that statement, or so I think (*Gasp* more Opinion and Preference *Gasp*). But I guess that you cna make a collectio of "Really good" Flash Games :D

Personally, I agree with Flashman...It's a matter of taste. I can play Square2 until the cows come home, but I can not say that about its many clones and variations which exist.

Hey, I didn't say it was good for people who don't know enough Japanese to navigate around. (Or can read the posts on Jayisgames which have some translations)
