Well, I haven't read the book and I don't know if i will watch the movie. I'm to ashamed of being caught buying the book now, just keep imagine everyone pointing and sneering saying "you haven't read it yet?! Shame on you!!"

Oh well, I'll live without it i suppose. It's not really my kind of book anyway.

wow. I'm not one to put all 100% confidence into what critics say, but this is the reason why i read the book and dreaded the movie coming out. I thoughouly enjoyed the book and it was actually the last novel i read (2 years ago)

I would at least think a couple critics would have been paid off to write a good review...but i guess not :D

Then again, do you think that these critics are pissed because they weren't allowed to screen the movie much earlier than most? I could see these jserks turning on Opie because of something this petty.

I'm going to wait until a few friends see it before I shell out my money.
