I actually want to watch the US games this time around. But if the matches are close to 3hrs and there's only a few goals I don't know if I can sit through it.

That mexican ref in the England game made some strange decisions...
Is the American team any good? What would happen if we won?*
*I know I would laugh at all of you.
I don't care about soccer, I just have to say.
Alty, your footer is amazing.

Okay, so I'm not oblivious to football. But I do make crappy predictions however.
Oh snap. I knew my predictions for T&T vs. Sweden were going to be wrong. :p Sweden just hasn't been that great recently. And I totally respect T&T's enthusiasm and determination. I would love to have seen them win.
As for England vs. Paraguay, England's offense hasn't been spectacular despite being a decent team overall in my opinion. But... winning on a own-goal? My oh my. Come on England. You can do better.
Upcoming matches. Venio's foolish predictions:
S&M vs. Holland: 1-1 draw (Kind of ambivalent here? Dutch supposedly healthy; S&M, good defense?.)
Mexico vs. Iran: 1-0 win for Mexico (Hmm, or will Iran score their first opening game goal ever?)
Angola vs. Portugal: 3-0 win for Portugal (This might be fricking crazy.)
I recon the freekick would have gone in if it had'nt hit the guy.

The heat is certainly ON.
The matches so far have been entertaining.
One remarkable thing which i noticed is the gap between the big teams like England/Sweden/Holland and the smaller teams like Ecuador/Iran/Paraguay has certainly diminished. No team can take any team lightly. Look what happened to Sweden - could'nt score a goal in 90 minutes.
Germany kicked up the campaign in style by winning against Costa Rica 4-2. It was an open free - flowing attacking game.
England were lucky to get away with a win with Paraguay. Owen/Crouch pair is a big flop - guess they have to try Walcott at some time.
Holland vs. Serbia was a entertaining game - Robben was all over the place.
Argentina fought hard for their win against the physical Ivory Coast.
Mexico - Iran was again a good game.
Portugal were unimpressive against Angola.
Mouth watering clash today -
USA vs. Czech Republic
Italy vs. Ghana
My prediction Ghana is going to upset Italy today !!!
Watch out guys !!!
My prediction:
USA 1 - 2 Czech
Italy 0 - 0 Ghana
YOU BASTARD!Quote:
