By the way, look up an old Sierra game called Hunter Hunted.
No one has ever heard of it, but it's pretty awesome. You see it in bargain bins for $3 every so often and I think you can get a demo online somewhere. It's similar to your game in gameplay and atmosphere. You may be inspired by it.
