Looks very cool.
I wonder whether a top-down version will be out for the Wii? :D
So not worth the build up
Hmm well I tried getting it from the site and it wasn't having any of it so I ended up waiting painstakingly to download it from gametrailers.com
Amazing how it was super clogged up on the official and any other website offering the video.
Worth the hype...? I think it was one of those games where we didn't know what to expect and whatever it was... wasn't gonna be what we wanted...
Alright I think...
It is beautiful though. Very detailed. I noticed new york and boston in there. Any others? I don't have sound at work so I'll have to wait a couple hours to hear it :(
so not impressed.
I thought it looked great. The trailer only shows the improved graphics, which was an obvious upgrade. They actually look better than Saints Row which I'm impressed with, assuming the trailer was actual gameplay footage.
I wish they would have shown a little bit of action...and for the life of me, they better fix the combat mechanics because they were atrocious throughout the series and especially compared to Saints Row.
But yeah, all that hype just for that short uneventful trailer...lame.

I was really hoping for a better trailer to be fair. I was let down by the footage they showed but it sucked for what i waited for...
will this be coming out on the 360 at the same time?
correct
Suggests to me that all of the games in this Gen of GTA games will be based on real places. London in the 60's anyone? I really hope so.
As for IV, I think it looks great. Probably going to be a lot grittier than the other GTA's. Roll on October!
Boooo-riiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnggggg!

I'd buy a next gen machine just on the strength of this - and I think those screenies look cool.

With the storage capacity they have now, they should focus on being able to travel from liberty city to san andreas. Or maybe let you go into each and everyone of the buildings. Have more animations when you kill somebody. And the blood should stay, I don't know why bodies and blood disappear. I'd love a GTA ala Hostel game :D
The trailer is referencing Koyaanisqatsi

IV is based in liberty city, there is rumors that the sign in the train area says you can go visit vice city, so there potentially is the chance that you can visit all the GTA cities.Quote:
