That's great work. (except for using wasd key in the demo, that is impossible to play with azerty keyboards).

I've never seen a azerty keyboard...
cool you sliced the screen´s drawings making it easier to render
This is one. Can you imagine how much difficult it is to play a wasd game with this keyboard ?Quote:

I really should finish this engine.... Maybe implement a ZQSD scheme....
Thanks for this post, I've subscribed to their RSS, the engine should go open source before the end of the year! It seems it is very perfomant, and I had never seen an engine allowing any kind of polygon. This really exciting.Quote:

Or ESDF which is common to qwerty and azerty keyboards.
Actually the Motor Physics Engine is (as far as I understand) based on Erin Catto's Box2D C++ physics engine.
There is another AS3 port of this engine here (just released):

rje, wow, that looks amazing
how many physics engines are there now?
Really enjoyed that link - I love the rube goldberg example.
rje that engine is sex on a stick.
Just to be clear - I had nothing to do with it (Box2D)- just posting the link. I was going to port it myself by skatehead beat me to it. Shame - I was looking forward to converting all that C++ to Actionscript....
That's brilliant, really really impressive.
I'd love to see someone do a rigid physics vehicle demo, like cars smashing into each-other and bits flying off.
