Alright, last round. I tried to bring my game face - but I think I should have went with less is more... :( Anyway, here it is! I'm open to all crits and witty banter too guys! Arena seems to be a little slow lately. Everyone tired from MM?

Nice. I don't think you went to far. I do think that the "bring it" would look better in line with the other text, or made to stand out more as a separate piece of the image. Like with the ol' comic book POW jagged line bubble or something.
Question: How did you get the face in such detail. I'm guessing you didn't freehand it. (If you did, hats off to you.)

I had this idea for the image and just went searching to find something. That kid fit perfectly for what I was looking for so I vectorized him. I played with the text for a long time. I even added a little shadowing in there to try and lift the text away from the background. Once I did that I had to lift the boy too, then the stripes looked funny so I did the same to them a little. Everything just kept snowballing and eventually I had applied the same effect throughout to make it look right and blend which defeated the purpose of doing it to the text to make it pop more. Finally I gave up close to midnight and just posted it!
Kaco, do you have a 1024x768 size of your lighthouse drop? That one looks like my next background. Set to replace Chris' MM finale.
Whatever happened to the calendar thing that was going on? Did we get a May image?
