I've managed to beat the more stubborn stains out of my gusset and I'll be there, plus a special mystery guest ( Well, someone from gimme5games. Mainly to make sure that if I get drunk my pants stay on ).

Which is the closest london train station to this place? Very tempted to pop down! :)
RipX
ahh a very good question...
Aldgate East and Liverpool Street stations are your bestest bets for anyone who is popping down.

I'm working just around the corner from the venue
does the talking bit kick off at 6.30? will I interupt if I turn up a bit late?
I'll just stand at the back and heckle in a muffled voice!
Late attendance is fine, but you'll probably have to end up sitting next to Squize.
Just for everyone to know, the rough plan is :
6.30pm people turn up, play some games while we wait for Squize
7.00pm talks start
8.00pm Talks end, drinkies and video games for as long as everyone wants to stick around
8.05pm I kick all yo' asses at Chu-Chu-Rocket on Dreamcast
Everyone is more than welcome to turn up at any time, it's a really informal fun evening, so worry not about what time you can get down for.

Just want to say thanks Chris for a really good night.
The talk was excellent, the example games were just stunning ;) ( Perhaps the slides could be posted somewhere ? ) and I feel like death this morning, which is a sign of a good night.
Good to meet up with the other FK London boys too. And good that I kept my pants on.
When's the next one ?

Sorry I couldn't make it in the end guys, got caught up but hopefully next time. I'm definatly interested in that video that people were talking about earlier :D

To be honest the trip from Koh Phangan to Brick lane would have been a killer. It was good but not that good :)

i swear the white noise coming out from the speakers for the first 20 mins was a subliminal whisper 'errrrroooooorrrrrwaaaaaarrrrre' and faint, husky moaning sounds...
ooh and I must thank one of your helpful assistant ladies who kindly paid for my drink when I discovered I was penniless!
Twas a really good evening. Nice to hang out with some of my peers for a change, instead of the pimps and hookers I usually hit the town with.
Chris's talk was a very lively look at the way the industry is evolving, and how the portals are being utilised more directly by the ad industry. The MiniClip/Digital Outlook presentation substantiated a lot of the things Chris was saying as well.
Great to have people from different parts of the industry all in one place, though may I suggest namebadges with ridiculously big company logos on next time. Helps to break the ice with the hotties, ya know? Plus I had no idea who half those people were.
Jim, I thought you were joking about being broke.... I woulda happily plied you with drink all night if you'd asked.
Will any synopsis of this be posted? Sounds like it was some good info. I feel unfortunate that I'm on the other side of the globe and couldn't attend this event.
