i stand by the fact that its a good show, and fun to watch.
nothing anyone says can change that. If you havnt seen it at least watch a few of the middle season episodes, the 1st season is very color by number, up untill the last couple of episodes.

you cant really compare the movie to the show.

Heh. Is this the genesis of the Bad TV thread? I don't think I've even made it through an advertisement of Buffy anything, let alone an actual episode.
Funny, I used to make fun of the Buffy fan-boys too - I actually had to sit down and watch a few episodes before why they liked it started to sink in. The wife still gives me grief for watching it when she catches me. :)
Just recently saw a few episodes of Firefly - made by the same guys, right? Very similar humor and dialogue.
im only 3 disks in of 30 and already i feel i have gotten my monies worth.. so good.
