Oh Yes Roman Pavluchyenko ! Such a wonderful team - but well guess it will take sometime for them to gel together.
Did anybody catch yday's CL action. Liverpool vs. Marsielle was a wonderful game. Marsielle played very well. Liverpool were lucky to win this one.
What a goal from Gerrard. I'm surprised we won that. Bit lucky I guess.
Yes Gerrard's goal was a killer !!!
It looped in perfectly over the GK. Guess he was wrongly positioned.

I don't know what happened to the 'pool in the second half, they were atrocious. If Marseille had figured out that the ball had to go in the back of the net to count, we would have been finished.
But what the hell, a win is a win. Better than last year, with one point from the first three games.

Drab draws between -
Arsenal vs. Dynamo Kiev
Man. U vs. Valenica
Its Villareal not Valencia, and yes, drab draws. Man U's midfield engine sleeping (without scholes) last night, thats why.
Ooh, Gerard's goal is pure instinct! Noone can measure a shot like that - its just, 'see ball coming'+'whack it hard' technique. Brilliant!
Man. U vs. Chelsea this weekend !!!
Guys - what are your thoughts ?
I think they play out a dull draw !
I'm hoping it will be a draw but I can see Utd losing as they've no Vidic and Chelsea are on fire at the minute.
Liverpool play Stoke and it's a game we should expect to win. Perfect chance for Keane to end his goal drought. This should be a goal fest but we need to watch out for Stoke's Mr Throw In (I don't remember his real name). Maybe it would be better for Carragher to kick the ball out for corners this weekend.
The long throw specialist is Rory Delap!
Oh. It was frustrating to watch Liverpool's 0-0 game against Stoke. 30 shots on goal, only 6 on target. They gotta change their training regime.
And about Man Utd, there's just something about them that's not right at the moment. Chelsea deserved the draw, preserving their 'Invincible Fortress' yet again. What, like 4 years++ and no home loss in the league? Incredible. Good for punters.
- Liverpool were too relaxed and lacked the urgency to win !Quote:
Liverpool's 0-0 game against Stoke.
- Arsenal are going to break the Fortress this season - guys - break the bank and bet on it - U will make a fortune.Quote:

Did you even see the match? 30+ shots on goal 80%+ possession - definately not relaxed or showed lack of urgency. The reason we drew (apart from the scandalous decision for the ref to disallow what should've been Gerrard's 100th goal for LFC) is because Stoke (full credit to them) put on an amazing defensive display and our finishing was not as it should have been.Quote:

Blues v Reds
---------------
It’s derby time on Merseyside again, with both Everton and Liverpool looking to rule supreme. This season, both clubs have shipped new strikers in, with Louis Saha joining Everton while Robbie Keane, signed for Liverpool.
Will El Nino get the Reds going OR Yaks come true for the Blues ?
El Nino destroyed the Toffees with a brace...

Juande Ramos insisted he would keep fighting after Tottenham's desperate season slumped to a new low against Hull.
- What happening to Spurs ?Quote:
Brazilian Geovanni scored a brilliant 25-yard first-half free-kick to claim the win for the newly-promoted Tigers at White Hart Lane which sent Phil Brown's side to the dizzy heights of third place in the Barclays Premier League - and consigned Spurs to their worst start for 96 years.
Good to see Chelsea & Liverpool leading the table
Wait, didn't this happen a season ago? Liverpool one of the pack leaders, only to stutter and butter away..
But yeah, good to @@ the Reds winning games that they look destined to lose (or play terribly and poorly at that). It seems, not only Chelsea and Man Utd are the ones who're able to grind out the results.
The way they fought back yday against Man City to win 3-2 shows that the squad has finally matured and gelling together as a team. It will be nice to see Liverpool/Arsenal winning the trophy this time round... Im bored of seeing Man. U and Chelsea dominating for the last 3-4 seasons.Quote:

The Liverpool/Chelsea games will make a huge difference. If we can scrape at point at the bridge and beat Chelsea at home then I'm guessing we will be favourites to win.
Chelsea are unstoppable at the minute. Hopefully they'll have a dip in form when it's their turn to play us. I've always liked Arsenal but I really don't see them being serious challengers this year.
