It isn't a negative trait by any means, but people should pick a president based on what they are going to do, not what they're saying or how they're saying it.

After 8 straight years of a complete ****ing idiot, it's surprising that anything more eloquent would be so loathed.
I guess that is indicative of how stupid people really have become. Vote for the ex-cokehead/DUI/liar/stumble on any multi-syllabic word cretin, avoid the person that can express more than one emotion and actually say something besides "Terrer, newclear, and asses uv evul"...
Whatever happened to wanting the top position in the US to be something to aspire to, not some C-student mediocrity. It sickens me, all of it.
I've just found out what he's been doing the last years. He is a great filmmaker:D

Obama is a very strong speaker.
Very intelligent, eloquent, inspiring, and very populist.
That is the whole reason behind the "Celebrity" and "Nothing but a speech" bull**** that the smearmerchants are pushing.
Unfortunately, you hit it right on the head.Quote:

I think of the same thing everytime I hear the rightwing try to smear their opponent with the "Elitist" label.Quote:

Think about it.
After 9/11, one of the worst government failures and national disasters in our history, who gets put in charge of FEMA? Who is in charge of coordinating the entire country in case of catastrophe?
A FKing horse judge.
This is how Bush protects us?
No wonder the RNC thinks that McCain/Palin is a winning combination.
A total screwup who graduates at the bottom of his class, and the female "Dan Quayle" who's barely qualified to be elected Dog Catcher and will most likely be in charge of the whole country when McCain keels over.
God save us if they can get close enough to steal it again.
