[OT] Unity now free to indies.

great resource!

Man, there is too much to learn about Unity...but those tutorials are very helpful.

Now that Unity is free, I'm giving it a try...it's just taking a while to install right now.
Has anyone here created any 3d games so far?

lol, i just made a pong game with it....the simplest i can think of...Now I am adding camera controls and such. learning unity is a bit hard if you follow the main tutorials on the site, but if you follow the tutorials in the teaching section, and mainly the ones here: http://www.learnmesilly.com/index.ph...=unity_lesson1
learning is a breeze. I hope to get some learning-buddies from here too.....

Hmph, WELL...apparently my computer is too old. Unity needs 4 texture units on the graphics card, and I only have 3...COME ON!!! I've been waiting for the chance to try out Unity, and this is what it does to me!!!


I need an upgrade...
