I have absolutely 0 design skills.

so i just make crazee flash garbage that usually kills processor power. or eye-burningly bad photoshop work.

I'm 16. I started with Flash 4 two years ago. I think we are all good flashers so long as we are original and keep a good eye. Creativity comes with experience. If we stick with Flash, then in 10 years we will be the best designers out there.

not to say im the best or anything, the only reason my sites are flash is because of scripting power. i also give thought into the design for audiances etc. but your right i see alot of that too.

no flaming me please just friendly rants ;)

well yeah, as long as one really tries to make unique designs. I have seen in many webbsites, something that looks like a bad habit, couse they have more or less ,in monkey language, the "same flash". Nice futuristic shaped squares that behaives more or less similar to the 2a genre. This might be something that only exists in my head... Anyway, I will stick to flash cause I love it, even if the university of interaction technology wants me to convert into using director. What they dont know of is the future of flash, most of the teachers and proffessors here has the idea of flash being only a GUI- and animation tool...

im at uni now, studyin multimedia design, and the course and lectures love flash and they know what it can do and what it is goin to do!
