I was thinking the same thing about the overly cluttered volleys, even tho I was the main offender ;). Anyway, its realy sweet and as soon as I saw it I had an idea (always a good sign) so im off to get working on it. :D

i don't exactly understan what cluttered is, but i guess it's something like what i always do, i tend to put too much stuff on the volleys.

hey dude, wow this battle is sooo cool. Excelent volley. It seems like you changed the pic size a bit. Is that allowed (i'm a battle newbie remember) anyway, i'm taking this and see what comes out, hopefully before gerbs goes on trip again so he can volley!

I do beleive that if you refer back to the previous rule definitions it clearly states "no set rules as such just keep a previous theme or element and its all good". Hehehe. Anyways why does it matter, its just a bit of fun? Well Im off to Rockhampton now, I got state traials for athletics. Catchyallater.

ok..question...how do you make those awesome shapes...that add so much to it...you know..the little lines and boxes???

its all very basic - it comes down to how good you can make it look.

its done with the selection tools in PS then filling them in - unless there is a diff way?

nope, spot on bv. just make sure you stick to only four angles of lines which can be done simply by holding down shift and using the polygon lassoo, start on a large canvas so you can get better detail and just remember to mix it up. if you couldnt be bothered doing the whole thing like that do an section and flip/rotate/modify it and place it around, sometimes repetition looks even better than singularity (is that even a word?). Well thats pretty much it and if you decide to try it please post your results :D.

Could have done alot more with this one but it seemed to get to cluttered. Well here it is (8 crashes later!).

squids, nice textures you gave to your volley. I liked it. It reminded me a little of flashlevel's textures.

Anyway, mine came out completelly different from what i originally had in mind, but i like it somehow.
