I came pokin' around just in time, it seems. Count me in. Here's hoping I don't get creamed in the first round this year. I dug my grave with that image last year, though. Didn't allow enough time for it.

I'm certainly tempted to participate, especially after the beating NJP3 gave me last year, but I'm almost sure I'd have to drop somewhere along the way. Sorry fellas...Maybe a nice, slow one-on-one battle would suit me better. Any takers?

Ah, no fun. I just got back on track after the same thing. I got hit with the worst flu I've had in ten years, at least. I couldn't do anything but sleep and drink an occasional cup of tea. yeah, read through last year's thread and rules. It's a bit long, so feel free to pay attention to the way things flow and the rules more than anything else.
Just an FYI, this does take a bunch of dedication to time if you make it past round 1. So, if you're not ready for the long haul, be ready for your dunce cap :D
Oh, and bring your A game. And only your A game. This has been going on for a few years now and it can get very competitive. We've got some great artists here.

Competing with great artists (for good times of course) is the reason I started posting here. :mrt: I'm not worried (but you're right, there is some stunning work in these threads).

Have been so busy with Uni work and life recently, things are starting to calm down and it'll be nice to give this another go. Can't wait to see some cracking images from everyone.

Given the rate of sign-up, and how "interested" people are... I just say skip this year.
The Calendar thread is all but dead despite a cool image by Cougrky for February and even one now by myself for March. The Kung-fu thread has all but died, I've seen more cases of polio trickle into a modern hospital than images into that thread as of late.
Hell, it's safe to say that the Arena is all but dead too.
As much as I'd love to be wrong, the one place I fought for its creation... I want to just close it shut. This is normally where I'd say something bullish like "prove me wrong" but at this rate, I'm being proven right.
