No. I'm saying the comments in the video and it says it has been updated and it says you still can download loops but you still CAN'T. The description of that video is lying.

When it comes to things like this, the only thing that will really speed me up is if I can earn something, regardless of it being free. Why don't you find out if one of the mods are selling some programs. I don't think northcode is selling exe2swf anymore. I'm moving slow motion to release games after being in the app store, but everyone's different.
Any updates on this? As for AS3.0, I'm not sure what to do about speeding things up... possibly opening a patreon? Would probably need some outreach and exposure to what you're trying to do to get more people on board, would be keen to see where it could go. :D
They are working again finally!!! Yes!!!
download sound extension .ogg
Always get an email notif whenever someone replies here, reminded me to check it again to see if it worked. Well, interesting development... all the links I click to go the main site now redirect to the forums. Strange...
I hope I hear stuff that's good at the end. I would be impressed if they all went to an archive page.
I'm staying positive on the situation and not giving up :D I really hope that access to everything is the end result as well. Sad that all the links still redirect back here to the forums but hopefully something is being done behind the scenes.

All I really want for my birthday is to listen to flashkit music again :(
Best case scenario, these might work if anything at all. Only shows about 1,000 of them but it's better than nothing at least.
https://archive.org/details/flashkit-sound-loops
This right here! I'm currently maintaining that archive. I started that as a personal archive some time ago when you were still able to download the loops, unfortunately never got around to continuing it so when it was too late... I decided to upload what I had so far to archive.org.
That being said, if anyone has something you'd like to see saved on there, send me a message about it and I'll gladly add it! Keeping these sound loops around for ages to come is the ultimate goal..
This is realy amazing and informative. if anyone need a photo editing service. knock me once.

Hi, is there a way to contact you? I'm new to this forum but, I know a flash game that has used Flashkit before, and I have the loops saved in my computer, I can't see a button to PM you. I could just send a link here, but I'm not sure about that since it could be seen as spam. Maybe via email? or maybe perhaps via Discord? I want to send the zip file to you so you can check it out, and add the ones that belong to Flashkit.
Hey, sent you a PM, hopefully it went through.
If it didn't, you should be able to reach me on the contact email I'll soon add to my user description on this forum. That way if anyone else has contributions as well, they can email me there! Any and all identification helps in rebuilding the collection from what we currently have. :)
I've actually taken the bootlegged copies from mrw.it and ID'd them based on their name so not only are the audio parts accounted for, so are their original IDs and other data (thanks to the web archive for keeping a majority of that info) I'll soon be adding those to the collection.
I really am hoping all the originals aren't lost, just inaccessible at this current time. That goes for the other categories too..
I was going to ask if you can use wayback machine and get flash player to work (before it was shutdown on January 12, 2021) and it can be possible to listen to some of the loops and sound effects? That would be a lot of tweaking though.
I’m glad that there is an archive.org repository of loops from Flashkit, but it doesn’t have everything.
I was hoping to download ambient soundscape loops; the aforementioned repository doesn’t have any of them!
Condolences, sympathies, and hugs will not cut it.
I am not happy that Flashkit, a repository of nostalgic sounds from the early 2000s, is lost! The archive.org page is nice, but it doesn’t have everything!
Where’s the owner of the site when we need them?
The OLD Missing files - WILL NOT BE COMING BACK. They are lost and gone forever.
Hope this helps:yikes:
I've managed to archive 22 of the ambient/soundscape loops! They're available here: https://archive.org/download/flashki.../moar/Ambient/
It's not much, but it's better than nothing!
Maybe try the wayback machine? https://web.archive.org/web/20010609...com/movies/3D/
All the original uploaders of the sounds and music should be alerted of the data loss, if they can still be contacted and at least if they don't have their own websites where they uploaded them as well that are on the wayback machine. Most of the pages themselves are on the wayback machine, but not the MP3s or WAVs themselves. I made a Google doc to name the resources that aren't archived anywhere or embedded in games and other content with searchable credits: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...it?usp=sharing. I'm also encouraging everyone to send their downloads and offline archives to the wayback machine or the owner of kitloops.
One that I'm looking at in particular is Icebergslim. It's a sensory overload to go through all the entries in the category pages instead of searching by submission pages, so it's better to write a script that prints out every name and artist in each search or category page. The artist's only publicly available form of contact is [email protected], and it's unlikely that AOL emails work anymore. I listed every song from that artist in the doc that have submission pages in the wayback machine, but I don't know if that's all the songs made by that artist. I'm also messaging and encouraging the admins of each Flash game provider like Armor Games and Newgrounds to start being diligent about whether assets in old Flash content has credits or not and being able to search for submissions of any media by credits. It could start with something simple like making a high-priority announcement alerting of the biggest loss in early web content history and an encouragement to start working on doing what they can to upload all the lost content to archivists like Kitloops. There's an app called FFdec (Free Flash Decompiler), which includes all the metadata of the content being extracted whenever they have any, but it's likely for such content to not have any embedded in the SWFs, especially Ball Revamped games.
So far, kitloops started with all the sound loops from mrw.it, batch-downloaded using a Python script
Also, what exactly happened that prevented the hosting providers from transferring the user-submitted content? Some people worded it more like they forgot or made an oversight, which could easily result in ableistic outrage comments about the employees that they're scapegoating, given the extreme importance in the historic aspects of the lost data.
This site is one of 11 sites.....It used to be one of 22 sites... The whole group has been SOLD about six times since 1999 when I first started posting...
The last time they were sold was about three years ago.... and no one involved had any idea that the files should have been included and transferred. Most of the other sales - everything including the servers etc went to the new owner but not this last time... All efforts to get the files from the old owner failed.
Owner of KitLoops speaking! Honoured to see my website getting so much attention, and I apologize to the site owner for not asking permission before nabbing all the loops. But clearly it's been of a lot of use!
Regarding the Icebergslim loops, I searched through the entire archive and it appears none of them have been saved (yet). Remember, KitLoops doesn't just cover the stuff from mrw.it, but also every single loop on Archive.org, and my personal collection of course. That being said, if there are loops that aren't in the archive yet, I'd love to add them, so don't hesitate to get in contact. The site exists purely to keep an archive of as many lost FlashKit loops as possible, and I have made archives of the archive, so I can guarantee that absolutely nothing will be lost this time. I'm entirely dedicated to this, so any little bit helps.
...how many times did I say archive?
I would always pop in from time to time to get that nostalgia and uplift my mood. Losing all the content is some heartbreaking stuff. Those loops and sounds were ingrained in my soul. I do have some in my archives but lost much of them from a crashed hard drive. It devastated me.
