A heartfelt thanks to everyone who is contributing to this cause, either through the UD client or otherwise.

The reason why I'm expressing this is that I have just found out that my 21 year old cousin has only 2-4 weeks left to live, thanks to that ol' cancer *****.

I've always known that finding a cure is an extremely important thing, but when someone as young, bubbly, compassionate and carefree as my cousin gets afflicted, I've found it suddenly hits home just how important the cause is.

It may be too late to save Kylie, but God knows I'll be redoubling my efforts to make sure few others have to endure this disease.

my UD was Fecked ... i had to uninstall then reinstall, still not sure if its going right...

Hopefuly i get into IT Tralee as a mature(here's hoping they dont know that i still act like a teenager, well, sometimes :p ) student, i should have a pretty good chance of getting UD on the network there, even if it is only in screensaver mode.

your brainpower to enter the trailer and footer cometitions (although you might win prizes from team flashkit)


16 pages is a lot - it's a lot faster if you turn off the footers, however pages one, ten to thirteen and any others you care for will explain nearly everything you need to know, anything else, just post here!

I think everyone here knows someone who has had cancer. My Nan died when I was little and I still miss her. My s-i-l's brother died 2 yrs ago, my neighbour last year and a boy in my sons class a few years ago.

My son loves it though and is very happy it's on Dutch TV. My brother has had to tape the episodes, shows, whatever for him!

Well, I signed up and downloaded the software ... Unfortunately, right now, I cannot use it ... It overheats my CPU ...

I plan on buying a new case some time soon, with extra cooling fans ... Maybe that will help; If it does, I will be sure and run the UD software as much as possible ...

65 degrees celcius is waaaay too hot ... :(

Only the total amount of memebrs sems to have increased, not the WU's, Points, or CPU time. I know that sine posting yesterday, I have uploaded maybe 3 wu's, so there should have been a difference in number.

Demand that these programs, more importantly the cancer program be written for more than just the windows platform. We want to make a difference too RIGHT!?

i did join the team and all and the UD did work fine till wek ago. Have any of you guys had problem with the UD and the F-Secure anti virus?

Every day i try to launch it or run it for a while the F-Secure pops up and starts to blah blah blah.. :(

Aparantly they're working on a mac version and should be with us soon! I have a mac in my office that doesn't really get used that much, so it will be great to have that crunching unit aswell!
