Funny... I'm using my cellphone and I can see it quite easily. Maybe some people are having DNS issues? That site has been up for 17 months without incident.
Let me know later and I'll post it at my other sites.
Ok, Its up now..
Great job everyone. Very killer image.
Great job Waste. I can see you put a great deal of work into the scroller and html.
Only one thing about all this. The only bad transition is mine... After everyone gets a chance to digest this, I wouldnt mind giving you an alternate image with a better transition. Im not sure why the color and saturation are off, it looked fine on my system..
3P
I disagree. I feel bad for the abrupt break in my image. Im new at all this you know-- but overall i love it.. i love it.Quote:

apparently your all just ignoring mine cause it is ugly. i dont know how i managed to make my straight lines messed like that lol.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
here are my initial thoughts (written in 'roll canvas' style):
-----------------------------------
01) ...wow, great way to anticipate the 'loop'. both visually and symbolically (the jester). i love how you got your name in there as well (twice). you gave woots a clean leave...
02) ...that he built off of well - sort of blown apart and burning if that makes sense. And yes, technology IS beautiful! i love the palette you chose - reminds me of something from 28 days later for some reason. your cloudy leave was a good setup for flashl!ght, who made a...
03) ...great transition into a sssssscarier, darker world. totally cool robot snake --- inspired by Gizmodo perhaps? i also like the white/yellow hot effect leading up to your leave...
04) ...which was tough. but you got past it ASAP, and created a killer image. the continuation of the snake/technology thing is amazing. and wrapped up in a movie poster theme that is as airtight as a boa's grip. your 150 was a cool preview, and a nice clean leave...
05) ...for irfaan to build on. i was looking forward to this one, as the 150 preview was killer --- and you didn't let me down. i LOVE THIS PALETTE!!! and yes, the funk is speaking to me, loud and clear. there was kind of a 'smooth criminal' vibe to your leave...
06) ...which dricciotti turned into a vibrant, dizzy world. i love the way you took a straight line leave and carved such intense angles into your volley. the console is so cool...i think i will play. and again, you've got a sweet palette. by the time you got to those beautiful warm diagonals, i knew ondraedan would build something cool...
07) ...into his image. great job taking a geographic leave and getting to 'your canvas' within 150 pixels. great textures and use of text...your calling card. i LOVE the last 300 pixels, starting with the medicine jar. sparkles, i like sparkles. doors, i like doors. and what a cool leave --- circles and greens...
08) ...give way to letters and blues. i guess you needed that dog to keep O's door walker off your property. first off...mow your damn lawn once in a while, or i'll call the neighborhood association. great vibe...and more sparkles! and what's the deal with the guy falling out of the window? i dug how you left things...
09) ...and EVP took that positive vibe straight into his canvas. i really like that diagonal near the bottom left. and look, another falling man! lots of color, lots of room for interpretation. danger buddha, danger! that leave was clean...
10) ...and things got darker right away. original photos --- dope! i like the cryptic text in the water and sky. a water ripple leave --- ouch! are you trying to give clicky2 a design hernia or something? well...
11) ...you did what any good designer would do --- smear it! this volley is one of my early favorites. first of all, the center line starts here (it lasts for 5 volleys). i totally dig the subject matter, and you did a great job pulling it all together. the cutout girls are brilliant, and i love that diamond pattern creeping around everywhere. the incorporation of text is so cool. and the overall saturation is just sweet - great colors. and you left...
12) ...squidy a pretty straight forward leave. I like it. is it you? a self portrait? using the drive-in sign to create a new object was a great reminder that this is inspired by photoshop tennis. you repeated a lot of objects throughout your volley - curved lines, horizontal lines, the dudes, the orange towers, and the textures...nice! that was a pretty busy leave for FP...
13) ...but he handled it well. you brought technology back into the mural, which had been gone since dri's volley. lots and lots and lots of layers --- i wish i had the patience. great palette --- browns, mints, and muted blues/purples. where did that come from? you set up lefteye for a perfect shot at a 2advanced-inspired image, but...
14) ...he said no thanks. instead, you opted for a beautifully original peice that stands apart in this mural. gorgeous textures and objects. is that a turtle? is that a fish? you are definitely marching to the beat of a richly colored drummer my friend. and what a cool leave; one that included the last of the center line...
15) ...which our gracious host decided to abruptly end. why? becuase he had a killer idea. man, another early favorite. not only is the idea sound, but you executed it so well. everything stacks together just right, and the coloring and noise is consistent throughout. i will yield, to your skills! you kept that palette alive going into your leave...
16) ...for nepzap2, who just blew it out of the water! wow, let's go this way now. cool turnaround, and surreal idea. i love the transition, and the way the leaves blow throughout the image. i sort of remember trees like that in college, but that's a whole other thread. i liked the leave...
17) ...and the way that mandiss filled in the texture. that girl is SO COOL! follow the pink road to bliss i always say, and walk through the garden to boot. Cool idea, but i still really like that girl for some reason. i was worried about the scanlines....
18) ...but they turned out OK. this image was asphyxiated by custom brushes, but i like the kids running towards the dude. i'm not sure he knew where he was going....
19) ...but mrkvavle sure did --- out into space. great, great, great tranny off of my 150. i love how the letterbox breaks apart with texture, and then we are out of here. that guy is scary, no doubt. cool, cool image. your space transition was...
20) ...handled well by happy pixel. a quick fade to blood red, and we have a sword (made of a cigarette?). cool continuation of the theme (blood vessels?), and then the loop. more sparkles, and then the slow fade back to silvers black and white X. all i can say is...
--------------------------------------
i can't wait to see this at home on the LCD.
i wonder what hidden wonders await me...
I'd like to thank the waste for all his hard work and gerbick for hooking up the space. And all the artists for such an incredible mural... Sweet. Can you imagine if one day one of us meets another one of us and not know that we were connected in the realm of artistic expression for ever.
That I think is phat! Peace to everyone. Blind tennis ver 3?????
not for a while i dont think.Quote:

Nords comments are just as great as the image itself. WOW! Thanks Nordberg, maybe these could be included in the comments section of the Flash version or something. call it "commentary by the Nords".
Nordy: I very much appriciate your comments on my piece, and am shocked you took the time to comment on everyones. that must have taken decades... great work!
here here! i was very flattered to say the least. And just when i thought my image had come across as simply "adequate" -- i read what you said.Quote:

Thanks nord. :D
I was too excited earlier to leave any comments but now I got some. I LOVE lefteyewilly's and TheWaste's images and the transition between them; they look great together. Nordberg, I just saw that that pink finger poking through the blue was a continuation from mandissected's image; The 3D of it looks awsome as does the white sparkles. Gerbick; amazing transition from ondraedan's with the smoke-like text and the words floating out from the chimney. EVPohovich; I like the kid falling off the stepping stones, i missed that the first time looking through it. Wouter wins the award for best transition.
Bravos all around!
WOW...I... DUH... speechless...I am so freaking impressed, you guys...wow
Amazing, as always guys. I have nothing to say, once I'm over being dumbfounded, maybe then I can be creatively critical.
great work.
my favorite pairings:
driccioti - ondraedan
lefteye - waste.
i agree - i love that lefteye --> waste tranny!Quote:

thanks for the comments on the comments.
it actually didn't take long...just typed stream of consciousness style (@ 95+ WPM)
Okay now that I have my brain together I can say some specifics. First, I am very impressed with the transitions you guys are extremelly talented.
Favorite trans, Dricciotti-->ondraedan: the blocks work so well with Dricciotti's gaming image you wouldn't know it was blind,
lefteyewilly-->TheWaste: like stated above, very smooth I like the continuation of an idea as well as the image,
nordberg-->mrkvavle: love the texture leading in to the space image, great way to break up the white,
clicky2-->squidlips: again love the continued idea, pin-ups to see no evil, Perfect!
mandissected-->nordberg: that vine poking through is great and the scan lines were perfect.
Second, favorite images,
Dricciotti, love the perspective and also I really like stuff that reminds me I am getting older.
EVPohovich, beautiful image, talk about a transition nightmare, props to creativeinsomnia for pulling it off so well.
clicky2, I just love pin-up girls and tartan
lefteyewilly, dude! Why didn't I see any of this when we were battling? This is an awesome image.
I feel very luck to have witnessed this amazing piece of artwork come together. I said it before but it deserves to be said again, you guys are soo talented, I am honered to be part of forem that can put together something so impressive and without even seeing the whole previous image.
Good job guys, if we do another maybe I'll take part :)
:yikes: I think the understanding is to hold off for a little while on the next one of these; keep its novelty value. Although I will anxiously await the next one.Quote:
