I might try it out but I'm waiting for Diablo3. So in about 10 years I'll play it.
Bioshock 2 - Well done. But, I just couldn't get into another shooter at the moment.
Lost Planet 2 - Has some cool moments. I can see what the reviews were onto though. You end up fighting the controls quite a bit. Similar to Bioshock 2, tired of shooters.
Playing the most recent Prince of Persia. Seriously poor production. It's as if ubisoft farmed out the work to the lowest bidder. The play control is clunky, shallow and feels worse than the original xbox version. It's really pretty sad to see one of my favorite franchises get thrown out like a dead hooker.

The Dragon Age 2 Trailer is out. I know it shows no actual game play, but if any of the cut scenes are as amazing as the trailer, this game will be amazing

Anyone picking up Halo: Reach today? I lost interest in the series after playing only part of Halo 2 so I have only seen 3 played by someone else and none of ODST. I only started looking into it a few days ago and I think the ability to edit multiplayer maps is going to be a huge thing to keep this game going.
I thought editing maps has been available since Halo 3?
i never got into halo, i dont think im going to start either after not being great at COD with a controller.
im looking at civ 5 as the next potential purchase.
We should all install the Battlefield 1942 demo again. We were all pretty good at that.
Shows exactly how little I know of the series since the first then :scared:. I just watched all the xbox live videos last night and the one on the multiplayer is what caught my eye. The editor is pretty nice from what I saw. They even have 2 of their maps available to load up and look how they built them and all the inner workings(even edit).Quote:

i can say with almost certainty that I wont be buying another COD game, at least not till i can use a keyboard and mouse
another big reason why im not a fan of games that dont allow dedicated servers:
APB which came out this past june is officially closing up shop next month, less then 3 whole months from release and everyone that bought the game will not be able to ever play it again.
I guess the next COD they are teaming up with some game server company to host games. Something like $.60/month for unranked matches for each player.
So i bought Civ 5, i had checked out the system requirements and everything looked good so i pulled the trigger. Well it came out today and apparently when i read dual core, i misread that it said core 2 duo so my processor doesnt meet minimum requirements.
epic fail. gonna have to tweak settings when i get home to get it to work:-/
so i got it working and sat down to play a little, then around 300 turns later i'm invading Germany and its 1 in the morning...
Anyone heard of this minecraft.net game? My boss is heavily into it atm. Basically a dungeon crawler with legos. I might have to check it out.

Yeah I think you have to be into graph-porn to dig this type of game. I'm not a big fan of making sand castles no one can admire.
exactly. like I spent a half hour, i built this big castle and then i walked around it and then i just sorta said this is it? whats next and there was no next, so i turned it off.
The building aspect is supposedly really cool. Like you have to kill spiders for silk so you can make string and harvest a certain type of mineral that can be refined into wire, then if you use some wood to make a crafting table you can make stuff out of the string and wire.
Aka do a bunch of stupid **** to get to the fun part

I still remember the first time i had to do the race against bonnie on the horse, i couldnt for the life of me do any corners at all, but later in the game i started to get a better feel for how the horses control, just pressing left and right sometimes doesnt turn as hard as you want it too, but you if press backwards and tilted a little bit left and right your horse will turn more sharply.
the gun play gets better as you get used to it, i went back and played some gta4 after i had beaten RDR and the gunplay is so much worse in gta4.
I have not played it as much lately, however the next DLC that is coming out has new single player missions involving a zombie outbreak so i'm definitely going to grab that as its only $10
I'm still only 3 hrs into it. I'm not sure if I'll ever get back into it.
With Halo Reach and the next COD coming out next month- my time for video games will be pretty taken up. I really don't have time to play a lot or the TV is taken over so I usually only get time to do a quick session in SKATE3 daily.
Left 4 dead 2 is just shy of 7 dollars on steam.
Just picked up Bio Shock2 after waiting for 4 agonizing months, but now the price has dropped from 85 US$ to 20 US$
might pop it in tonight :)
the undead nightmare pack for RDR drops tomorrow... $10 for a new stand alone zombie storyline, as well as a new coop hold off wave after wave of zombies mode for multiplayer.
i'm def going to be buying it, if anyone wants to fight off waves of zombies please let me know.
It is not easy to get only headshots on shambling rdr zombies.
Owning this xbox really reminded me how little time I put aside for gaming. I need to start playing more.
