And it's just that, an opinion.

I personally had fun getting to know some of the US crowd. They have my respect, and hopefully they'll continue to contact me via IM... DigitalOne, SixTailer, Imaginer quickly come to mind.

But this... I don't mind it. But without justification, I don't support it.

With that said... I conjure up Mikecoutermarsh as the person that'll counter that awesome volley.

don't worry about it. upon revisiting my own words, they seem a bit harsher than they really were meant. guess my verbiage was a bit kurt after driving some 900+ miles today as part of my 2700+ mile, 2 week trip I've been stuck on barely dodging a hurricane, getting flooded/stranded, taking 3 days of cold showers in the dark, and then somehow still maintaining a connection enough to witness this match as the FK captain.

btw forgot to say.... why don't we leave this judging to someone else form other forums??? that way ultrashockers will have to accept the defeat with no excuses :)

heh heh, I can't say anyone won. Both were really good.. I admit we had a couple volleys that could have been much better. But we selected our teams by first come, first serve through the forums. If you guys would like, we can gather our real graphics gurus, and go head on. It would be a real deadly team.

I would say give us a couple of weeks because we could not grab our best guys due to short notice, and work deadlines.

also, I say we do an outlaw PS tennis. All mystery men, and the final round is faced off between the best servers on foth sides.

Yeah. I had an idea about doing something a bit different though.

I'd love to have a Remix Battle - remix our original volleys with little to no regard to the flow, just remix our own volleys.

god knows I'd love to remix my own volley, spend more than the little bit of time I worked on it.

Gerbick, the last minute addition of the volley by Dash was to try to fit his volley in - as he said, he didn't do it til the last minute, and I didn't even know about it until PixelRanger IM'd me the completed link. Whatever the case, it doesn't need to 'count'... I think the battle came out almost even.

FK really suprised me with the skill they brought - I was expecting less. However, I will say with Imaginer that the team was formed on a first come, first serve basis and a well organized, 'heavyweight' round would be even more incredible to watch.

I enjoyed helping to organize the US side and watching the battle, as well as the trash talk. Thanks to all who took part! :)
