Since voting will be over now, I think it's OK to talk about the tie breaker images, so:

I really liked your image. The blending of the old and new cities was done very well but the Geisha didn't fit on top of it. The background aside, the image felt a bit too open. I didn't know what to make of those two objects protruding out from her (I think it was supposed to be a costume umbrella and her leg (sky scraper) kicked back, right?). It was just kind of odd.

While NJP3's image was very clean, I think the use of stock wasn't that great. I voted for it because it made a bit more sense theme-wise, but I wish more had been done with it.

If I had the challange, I would have put her onto an oriental rug with a simulated stiching pattern. I think that would have been cool.

The images protruding from her were not part of her costume, the idea was to create a collage of items from different eras in Chinese and Japanese history. Hence the idea of tradition vs. progress. That is the theme.

I thought ondraedan's theme was awesome, and probably better executed than I could have even dreamed up. I can't accept your current challenge O, but if you ever want to pwn me in a 1 on 1 battle sometime and get your revenge I'd love to try and keep up.

Genesis - your quite right, it was far from the most original stock usage, sry for that.

I've finished my image for R3. I'd still like to show it to you all, but I'll wait until voting on R3 is over, I don't wanna give anything away about who has which stock ;)

Well i did have an image, and PM'd you Dri. regarding my situation, but i guess you didnt get it :-/ Anyways, my image came out like crap, and i didnt bother submitting it.
Now me and my fish head are going to see a movie....

I used a batch action for all the images in PS and forgot to rotate them first. Was too lazy to fix it. If it offends anyone, let me know :mrt:
