wow! nice pic nepzap2, can you all give me some tips on these stuffs? how you all get the ideas?
i'm new to designing...
What can I tell you. I look at a lot of magazines I look at web sites, nature, architecture(the city is very good and full of ideas) "I ALWAYS TRY TO HAVE MY CAMERA WITH ME." And in this forum inspiration is everywhere. But the best way in my opinion is to try as many things as you can possibly try. I find that sometimes I get incredible results by accident, especially if photoshop is involved. It is rare atleast for me to create something and have it come out just like I intended. But every once in a while I achieve my goal. My goal is to get there, to know what I want and do it. But mate that takes a lot of experience, just play around.Quote:

Hybrid Inc Not bad with the look and the text. I like that cut and paste look of your background. Nice return.
They backgrounds actually a picture I took of a wooden board with various layers and lighting effetcs applied to it (tinted, blured, overlayed, screened, etc). I think it got upwards of 20 layers for just background stuff. :p
great job man. i'd like to play photoshop tennis with you some time. remember the match we had with that other cat. i forgot his name, but the one with the wide style?
Yea, I remember that. It was pretty tight. Don't know what ever happened to him though. :p
// I'll get a serve ready :p
oof, very nice flashlight, very very nice.
Kinda cleanses the palette, now im ready for the next serving of images. great work.
I am working on a return. Expect it in by tommorow morning
Very awesome flashlight, I really dig the light [nothing here] in the middle.
awesome!
that is one of the tightest drops I've ever seen from you dri. very nice.
Don't worry Dri an element of your last image is in here.

where did you get all of those images?
I created the water, air bubbles and light ray with photoshop and I used a skyline picture of Manhattan! And obcourse Dri's siluate image.
Here is the underwater tutorial

I know it's lacking something, but I don't really have that artistic eye so I'm hoping maybe someone could point me in some direction. I gladly accept any criticism.
great balance, however the thin font looks off. Something wrong with it being lower case and upper case at the same time and the kerning looks off on 'claim'. Other than that, a cool image. Keep it up mang.
thanks man, i seriously appreciate it. =)
hey guys, do you have to call the next volley or just whoever gets to it first?
just go next... no order other than we're not really up on going twice in a row.

It's been a while...I need a warm up :p

ninja guy from here
font: blue highway
I really dig the way the way the hands holding the sword come up out of the city scape like that. Very cool grungy urban feel.
Hey cool , I didn't see that the first time
I have no idea how to do that :p
Nice grunge effect by the way :)
PS : I just made my first sig look at it if you want :)
Eagle, please trim that footer down please... 300 pixels wide by 40 pixels high... those are the allowable FK rules.
Damn shame too... looks cool. But gotta follow the rules in the Flashkit FAQ though.
AWESOME onine!!
Hybrid, Eagle, Lefty
thanks very much, you're very kind :)
Eagle, I do like your sig - it's a shame about the size thing
I hope you can keep some elements after you trim it.
Oops ! sorry ... It is allowed at some forums , but I will resize it as you askedQuote:

If I were you , I'd crop the canvas and not resize it. You'll keep the detail that way.
Ok , ok I got it , but lets stay with the topic :)Quote:

Well I just visited battlefarm from your footer and signed up. Is that place dead for good or do you think it'll pick up?
Seems like a cool idea but struggling for member submissions? Anyway, any one interested in posting something new and prolonging its death a little more can challenge me over there if they like.
peace.
It went dead for a while mainly because of the name change from komprehend to battlefarm.
It's also been through some serious downtime, and then some other factors.
It's been on my list of things to see if we can hype it back up; however that's going to take more than me to do that. Same goes for Studiowhiz.com... would love to prop up that site too a bit.
It's been awhile since I've done anything in PS
