there is no star trek on at the moment, so it can be difficult to try and get into it.
its definitely an acquired taste, and each series is like a different type of drink, not everyone is going to like them all.

I've seen a few episodes of each series over the years but nothing grabbed my attention where I HAD to keep watching.
The ones I remember the most are from The Next Generation as my mom used to watch it when it was still on the air.
Maybe when my nerd inside boils over I'll try to watch one of the series.
yeah its not easy to get into with only a few episodes, voyager especially, as its a constant linear journey, where the viewer knows the ultimate end game of the show, but how they get there is why they watch..
Just discouraging because I have OCD with tv shows where I want to watch everything related to it and something of that caliber is crazy. 1 series alone is something to tackle but I'd prob want to watch them all after finishing 1...yikes.
I have a lot to catch up on ;)

Too bad it means none of the original cast. Funny Whiskey never ages a day in 9 years.
if you watched last nights preview to next weeks episode you can see that they are going to wrap it all up.
tonights episode was a great, not as good as last week, but should lead into a really nice series finale.
that sure was an explosive 1st episode of 24.
I was thinking Contra when i saw 'The Hollow Men" Any sequel would be like Sarah Conner Chronicles.
I disagree, the last ep was every bit as good as the one before. Painful to think how cool this could have been stretched over a 5 year arch.
As much as I'd like to say Dollhouse or the Jets game was the best thing I watched all weekend, the latest Legend of the Seeker was off the charts cool. Introduction of 4 new factions, what powers wizardry (very jedi), a new path for Richard all filled in with extremely hot women tightly bound in leather spilling lots of blood. The show is just great.
i caught maybe a minute and a half where the dude cast the deafing spell, and it pains me that i have not commited anytime to this show.
legend of the seeker is high on my list of shows i really want to get into but just never find the time.
as for dollhouse, i think it was a little rushed, it seemed like everything came to the end a little too fast, and of course thats as a result of being canceled but i would have liked to flesh the plot out a bit more. still don't know what happened to alpha, hopefully this week will clear the air. but mellie, and boyd portions were very emotional parts.
You have to really appreciate Victor. His character started out so unassuming and background but in classic Whedon style, his hidden acting abilities emerged at a steady pace as he added more and more "programs" to his act. His ability to simulate Topher is nothing short of perfection.
While I agree with your assesment of Victor. Dichen Lachman always had a way of picking it up a notch as Sierra whenever there was a bland moment to overcome.
Caught the pilot to Hard Target, Good action, wooden characters. The only guy i liked was the shifty weasel. I hope he has a meth problem in later episodes.
it seemed interesting enough
I'll admit the fight scenes were good. Vancouver aint California. You can tell that 90% f the show was filmed north of the border. i suspect all the guest and cameo roles will be handed out to DaVinci's Inquest and Stone leftovers.
The $1.5million Skit last night on the tonight show was such a huge hilarious waste of money.
link me if you can.
its going to be hard to find it.
basically Conan took a Bugatti veyron, gave it giant mouse ears and tail, and then had the original gold master of the rolling stones cant get no satisfaction playing during the reveal, All for the low low cost of 1.5 million dollars plus royalty fees for the song anytime they replay the segment. And NBC had to pay for all of it.

Saw that earlier this morning. So good. Can't wait to see what else he buys.
Am I the only one bent that Dollhouse got bumped for the Haiti concert?
