I respect that 100% Mad-Sci, as I mentioned earlier in another post.
As far as 3D groove, been there, done that, and what does this have anything to do with the matter, these are Shockwave games. I was referring to Flash.

I think it could be done in Flash though not by me that is for sure. May be not with F5 but I have no doubts for the future. F5 is good enough for a simple games ( platforms or arcade etc. ) if you want to put it on the net. Can you do Age of Empires with Flash and compile it as .exe files + libs and images. Why not, to much work though. But it is possible I gues..or not ?
Now about the topic 15G for a game I dont realy know. May be yes may be no. I have not seen any invoice...:D sounds good dont you think?

Well, If I can make a 3D raycasting engine in QB 4.5, I suppose anythings possible.
I like that marble effect you got going on there, very cool looking!
Okie I got it from the net just a gif. No gift for drawing unfortunately.

Think about that for a sec... The companies that have the 3d graphics rendering the 3d engines the first person shooters (obviously that's what you are aiming for) don't make 15k... They make billions a year off of their games. When you think about the capabilities of Flash compared to the capabilities of the 3d graphics engine designers and such in porportion, it makes perfect sense. The gaming industry is large enough (even for Flash) that these figures seem accurate to me.
oh dear...if only you had a brain for even half a minute! My comparison between flash games and playstation games was only to illustrate the point that what makes a game addictive and interesting is it's playablility. Ofcourse psx games are light years ahead of Flash but my point is that many people who would find console games too complicated to play would turn to simple fun such as solitaire etc.
On a final note, it seems obvious from reading your postings that you're not interested in listening and having a proper discussion - you're too quick to try and insult everyone and it's obvious you're suffering from some sort of flash-envy - maybe you're sorry existance as a programmer who can't actually show his "work" to anyone has had it's toll - to repeat a previous posting; have a go and develop your own flash game....that is once you learn how to spell flash ofcourse.
By the way, I'm being insulting because I think you're a t**t..... and I think at least 99% of the flash community is behind me.
Gambini, was that post realy necessary ? I asked you guys not to be harsh and personal. Is that too much to ask ? This is the Games section and we are supposed to have fun here.
Please dont respond with flame.

*sigh* God I admire you Gambini
99% Of the flash community may be on your side, but Jesus loves all of us, and thats what truely matters
Anyone know of any sites that license their Flash material?
I'd like to see some of their prices online.
Ultimate Arcade:

We license Flash games.
Apologies if my post offended anyone - and apologies to okidokies.
The company I work for is selling a game for £60,000 so make of it what you will.
OK, how about ignoring the ignorant, and getting back to the main topic at hand?
Fact: There are customers out there with marketing budgets, and they will gladly buy little flash games to put up on their websites, for no other purpose than to exist whether people play them or not.
Fact: We're here to supply that demand, regardless if numbskulls like OkieDokies thinks we're all making this up (the checks I've been getting so far have been VERY VERY real!)
Im posting a new thread with some advice on the path to use if you still have yet to delve into selling flash games...

Look, I am basically a newbie to Flash and especially making games, but I do know that if you know what your doing, limits are only as far as your mind. Think about it. You have the ability to use Java, DHTML, XML, VB, and almost any other programming code not to mention the Action Scripting already integrated in the flash file. I mean, anyone with great imagination can make a great game, and if it is a great game that attracts people to it, I would buy it to maybe even have on my hard drive off a cd. I am an avid game player and have seen some quite awesome flash games that were challenging and kept bringing me back. And for $20-$25 a pop (if they were to charge) I imagine alot of people would have them. You can make a full length game in Flash, if you have the time and energy, and smarts to do it, so dont criticize anyone for something they CAN do....
