Sorry man -- it was cyk. With reference to the jewish worker not turning up for work -- I did not write the report myself. All I said was that there was an unconfirmed report and denied by Bush admin.
Saying that, I am keeping an open mind -- it is now difficult to know which is truth and which is lies. When was the last time you heard a politician telling a truth? remember Clinton lied under oath

At the end of the day, there would not be so much trouble if Bush admin had not supported Isreal so strongly and have the decency to admit wrong doings. And stop being so aggorant towards other countries for example I remember a summit meeting a couple of months ago to talk about pollution and globalisation, all countries agreed to cut down on pollution production. USA did not bother to turn up and in the nicest way possible said "**** off" to the other countries. That is one of the many reasons why there are a lot of resentments.

When all's said and done all of our governments have committed murder, subterfuge and attrocities in the name of a greater good, I see little benefit in singling out and lambasting the US.

Agreed. Tony Blair for example messed up the transport and NHS. Saddam doing things with Kurds in North Iraq. And other countries.
I don't mean to single out US but the unfortunate truth is that they do this a lot more often than others.

Billy Bragg (that pommie commie) is one of my most admired people ever. He speaks with a very clear voice.

I hope comments on genocide were just a really bad taste joke.

There is a big problem with using boogeyman threats as a way of supporting your economy. You have to keep finding new ones when you have wasted enough of the old ones.

I wonder which foreign country will be next. The list of virgin countries is getting smaller and smaller. They will have to start over again at the beginning. Maybe there can be another cuban crisis to rattle sabres at after there have been more friends made in the middle east.

What makes anyone think for a minute that they know the truth of all of this,

Yeah, I know !!!!! I think that, after careful consideration, the Bush administration have decided to go with the "it doesn't count because we had our fingers crossed" explanation for that particular policy.

sorry about removing the subject of your quote. I am trying to keep my personal distaste for all the s**t that goes down and who I think is responsible for it off these forums as a matter of principal, but it gets really hard sometimes when I see some of the comments that are made.
