Even tough Im far from being part of that Elite you mention, I agree with the idea of giving avatars only at a certain level like it was on the older board.
Im not saying I agree with that "everyone has avatars" thing, because lots of users really enjoy having avatars, but it really looks weird, now everybody has 'em.
