I was going to say $.50 since those idiots are paying $1 but even at .01 it is worth it :)
Well it looks like this guy is going to make quite a bit more than $1,000,000. He is selling the last 1000 pixels on eBay. It got up to $800,000 earlier but I guess it was a bogus bid cause it is back down to $152,100.

This concept isn't new. In the 70's, in NYC, where everyone is chic and suave, an Iranian taxi driver put up $30,000 for a double fold out page ad. All it had on it was his picture, full page, and in huge text, "SEND ME $1", and his address. That taxi driver got rich that day. :)
where can I read more about that?Quote:

From the 70's? Before the internet? I have no idea where you could read more about it. Maybe Google scams or something. I was working in NYC at the time, and it was on the news.
Wish I had thought of it. :)
Eff that bush-league stuff.

Looks like they accept Flash, that should turn out well.
This is going to be one of those trends that won't die fast enough, isn't it?
People are bored. Others either have too much money or not enough. These things will come and go. I think, for the most part, people come online cause it's something new and they want to see what all the excitement is about. The old monkey reflex. Anyway, my sister-in-law spends almost as much time as I do on-line, but she doesn't have anything to do except look around at all the pretty pages. So one day, she gets logged on one of those 'virtual pets' sites. For weeks, she was like a 6 year old on Pokemon. Feeding, watering and grooming these pixels like they were real. I just scratch my head. :DQuote:

You never can tell what will take off and what won't. Personally, I believe that the internet is the worlds biggest fleamarket, theres something for everyone at a price you can afford. But even that get's old fast unless your actually doing something online, like a job or hanging out in the CL. :D
