well hello to you too rush and pea...
its okay, don't say hi or anything ;)
Hey playa...glad you could make it. :)
Had to quote that. That's exactly what I'm looking forward to. My work is always fairly dark and I have a color palette I tend to stick to. It'll be nice to change it up. With battles, you can use an element and manipulate it into your style, but like The Waste said, this is a great opportunity to jump into unknown territory.Quote:

one thing i'd like to add everyone... transitions are rarely easy in this game. you may just end up trying to continue from a cloud filter, noisy textures, weird gradients... these things are invitable. the easy way out is to simply put a stop to it with a sudden change (an image overlap, a big overlapping shape, etc), but FKer's are not known for giving up on a challenge now are they?
If you get a difficult transition, embrace it! the best volleys in this game have *always* been the ones involved in a long, seemingly uninterupted series of images with well made and subtle transitions. myself, i am much more impressed with a well transitioned image than one with sudden stops on both sides.
and just like Gen was saying, if you get left to continue an image that isn't in your style, don't try and change it to your style, because rollcanvas always changes style by itself (similar to a game of 'chinese whispers')
insted, try and stick to the style for as long possible (within practical reason), and play with the style you've been given. chances are that you'll not only get some broadened photoshop experience, but you might just suprise yourself!
Wud up waste. Good to see you around. lol sorry I was about to say hey but baby pea had other ideas lol.
When is this due to start. I may be willing to take turn number one. what the h3ll lol No role like the lead role right. but it does depend on starting time.
waste sends extra glory points to whoever goes first (for bravery) and last (for double transition stitching skills)
yup... glory points... whatever the hell those are
I wonder... :)Quote:

I'd never take first. I suck anyway!
EVP, When are we going to start?
Yo', what's um man? Long time no see... Glad you made it around again. If you think going last was hard wait until round two...matching 3 sides...
I am still waiting to hear back from some people and then we can start this. Looks like middle of this week we can start.
So, pea3698 are you requesting first go then...?
Yeah i'll take slot #1 (yeah I got a pair lol) I have an interview for the Art Institute Wen. night so if everyone is ok with starting at the earliest thursday i'm game. Can we get a limited sneak peek at the time frame per turn?

Its not a competition. This is a battle where everyone should just bring their best stuff and make an amazing piece of art.Quote:
