... and hdmi. Plus black is the hotness. I wish I had held off for this version.
I have been following that as well. Any word on pricing yet?
Its rumored to be around $479us. The xbox pro unit as we know it now will become the core unit... probably lowering the price to $399.
I am not sure if I can swing $500 for a system. I guess this summer I will put a few more hours in at work and get one. I have heard rumors of it looking like crap on a SDTV? I have a 32" lcd tv I can hook it to at home for the summer but once I got back to school in the fall I will be back to a "normal" tv....how does it look?
Yeah, Circuit City and Best Buy both have it listed at $479: Best Buy
I play mine on hd which looks reliably great. When I was visiting my brother I tried it on sd and played gears, ridge racer, and fight night. They all looked fine. It looks even better if you don't have hd to compare it to. The only problem I've heard anyone have is small text in dead rising is difficult to read.
If you can't put out $500 now, do best buy financing like I did. I bought a 32" tv, 360, games and accessories and put it on a 3 year plan of about $50 bucks a month.
I am almost out of debt(other then school :)) I don't think I want to go back in debt for a gaming console and tv :)
That is the stupidest thing i have ever heard come out of your wolverine-ish mouth. Priorities man....priorities. You're young, you have the rest of your life to pay back credit card debt. ;)Quote:

Bummer. http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/gadgets/x...-ok-248754.php
I guess I will just pick up a cheap premium system when all the suckers change in theirs for the elites and then I will just paint it black myself :)

Some new details:
-Multiplayer (But not massively).
-Based on New Yorks five major boroughs and parts of Jersey.
-Smaller then San Andreas, but very dense (no huge country drives).
-NaturalMotion's Euphoria Engine licenced for NPC characters
-No Planes :thumbsdow
-Modern setting, modern soundtrack
-Enter/Exit buildings without breaks
So basically Saints Row but in New York and Jersey.Quote:

Ah, but the 80s were good to me - I like the tunes and the empire-building feature is pretty cool.Quote:

I just hope I get a good working 360 for long enough to play it :)
Also the new trailer comes out tomorrow.

You could always just buy a PS3...and when you're done playing GTA IV, you'll have a nice $600 Blu-Ray player...and no games worth playing.
That special edition package would go nicely with the new Elite system.
I always enjoy the PC version more anyway. I'll just wait.
