So If I'm looking into buying a PS3, which version and why?? coz the wii is good, but I need the good graphics and titles of the PS3, plus Blu-Ray is good as well as DVD playback and the backward compatbility
Well, I went from 1 gamertag to no gamertags seeing how as upon coming back from a 5 day vacation, my 360 greets me with a RROD. It missed me. :(
xbox: Fluent in Lies
I was leaning the same way, but sony kept disappointing. As soon as they lost the exclusive on Assassins Creed, I decided xbox was the way to go.Quote:

The 360 just has more contrast to it's renderings, IMHO...
Graphically they're pretty much par. Don't worry about the graphics. What's important is the games and right now 360 has the bigger library. The smart thing to do is, if you want a system right now, get the 360. It's cheaper and there's more to play. Then pick up a PS3 a year or two down the road when it's hit some major price cuts and got their act together.Quote:

I have Mario Strikers Charged, in case anyone wants to play a game or two and kick my ass because I suck at it.
Edit: Added all of you.
gesteves, how does that play online. Is it laggy at all? alot of dropped connections?
I've only played about 3 or 4 games online, and the connection only dropped once, but I think it was because I was about to win and the other guy quit. The other times I didn't notice lag or any other problems.
silver, are you actually homeless? i was hopin to hop on madden this weekend if you're up for it
Yo.Quote:

im not technically homeless, but i wont have an internet connection this weekend, sorry otherwise id be totally down to have randy moss burn whoever the bills CB's are for tds;)
I'm still getting acquainted. Tried to accept your chat the other night japan but I didn't know wtf I was doing. Plus I'm hard-wired for now as the price of the wireless adapter is a little outrageous atm. I think the length of the wire (big spool) or too many devices is making it hard for my router to sync and effectively taking down the rest of my network.
I haven't bought a game yet either. Just borrowing Halo and ghost recon from a friend. And man do I need an HD, I can't even fk'ing read the tutorial text in recon.
Is assassins creed worth buying or is a rental?
Assassin's Creed is an awesome game, but gets to be repetitive really fast. Sneak, pick-pocket, kill, repeat.
It truly is a stunning game to look at though.
Which Halo are you borrowing, 1, 2, or 3? I am currently going through the entire series from the beginning...
HD's are a must have item. And both items that you want are close to $100.00. I just sold a 20G HD to someone today actually.
Halo 3, the only one worth playing imo. I played 75% through the first one back when it came out. You wanna talk repetitive? It's fk'ing hallway, hub room, out door bridge, rinse repeat. Nothing compared to what a pre microsoft owned bungie claimed the single player would be like. As a matter of fact, they claimed it would be more like 3.
I've got the 20gig, 200 points and a year of xbox live.
Just gotta trouble shoot this ethernet problem some more, get used to using the GOD FORSAKEN ANALOG TO FPS! and I'll be seeing you on soon enough. That is if I don't get buried alive by all the work that just showed up. :p
Assassins creed would make a good rental. If you've got enough free time you could finish it in one or two rentals. I've pretty much given up on buying single player only games, because they rarely go over 15 hours (unless it's something like oblivion where my file has gone over 110 hours) and then you shelve them forever.
If you're looking for some good games to pick up I'd recommend Call of Duty 4, Rainbow Six Vegas, Crackdown, Gears of War, Halo 3, and Orange Box. These all have great single player and multiplayer components. If you like co-op play with a friend (both online or split screen), Rainbow 6, Crackdown, Gears and Halo all have that.
a million+ points on geometry wars poon!? Holy crap man.
Yeah i've noticed that pooon has a lot of time on his hands.
I used to have time, then i got married and had a kid.
