I always liked drawing stuff but never really put my hearth into it
I have been getting better simply because I have more free time right now so as I always say "practice makes you perfect :)"
no art school whatsoever anyway but I have been surfing the net and taking a look at tutorials and other people work which is very inspiring

I really like to be as good as they are though maybe one day ... :)

the tools you use for drawing whether with paper or digitally are very important ,right now I am using Photoshop 7 very cool software by the way and a wacom tablet
still don't know how to use them properly, I guess the better you know your tools the better your work ..

I would recommend you go to art school though if you want to do this
professionally

If you can, try to get the right wing look farther in dimension from the body. The two look blended giving an impression of some spike coming out the armpit.

Magnetos, youre work is really impressive and very inspiring. That must be the 10th time I go around your thread checking out your pictures, its impossible to get fed up with them. =)

I think the batman, and the w.i.p (?) are the ones I like the most. The last one is amazing too, so many details, you are really good at putting the shadown and highlights... ... and the outline too... and the textures... and well the colors are great too... and... I guess the whole thing is awsome!!! =p
I wonder how much time you spend doing those.

I just played your game, but my bandwith is too small, I lliked the music and the BG. =)
The rest was too hard to see for me, I lag too much. hehe.

to do them it takes some time
i start it and then i work on it little by little when i have time
the first ones are done all by hand i mean paper and pencil then touched up with PS
the last ones its all PS and my cool wacom tablet


if you have any idea on how to improve any of my drawings please do tell

Nice art, but the colors, I don't know what it is bro, something is not right about the way you color your art. I like them when they are not colored. they look flat when you color them. It could be just me.

Yea, and one more thing, most of the work on CGTalk, is done on 3D modeling software and colored with photoshop. So, it will very very very had to do it on pen and paper and get it to look that good.

As far as the animation goes - just draw out the character and animate the parts that only need moving (mouth mostly) - and when needed extensive movement just sketch it out. If you're going to be putting the time into drawing chars, might as well put it to use.

thanks fospher i already figure that but the time needed to make a lets say even a 2 minutes animation with characters so detailed will be wayy too much not too mention i got have some kind of story which i have to write and stuff

all considered it will probably be easier to make a short comic book ummm...

if anybody has a small "compelling" story for it i might be willing to put it to work and make a nice comic book

Be careful with the Disney characters. The company is very protective of that stuff, and can be overbearing about that sort of thing. Then again, with your talents, they may hire you.

Hilarious! Seriously, animation not comic - the liquifing filter will make the up for the tweening alone!

That gnome is beautifully done!! Seriously, it's oozing with pure unadulterated aesthetic.

Good stuff, I especially like the nice clean faultless look of the pacifier.

Also, by stiff I mean his stance doesn’t seem go with his expression, not to me at least. He looks surprised (or horrified), but his posture is so watchguardesque (Not a real word you say?).
