Man I learned that trick on Photoshop TV (the high pass filter one) and the other from a photographer at work. :p
And plus we are a community, why not everyone talk about great things we run accross...

:domo: I believe there was also an old computer arts (uk or us or fr) tutorial about it... back in the days when photoshop didn't even know it would be called CS :cow:

Took a while, but I'm liking it.

I know its hard to tell, but I used one of her eyes on the dragon.

Edit: Well, its been a few hours and I'm looking at it. I think the tree looks like crap, but I like the rest of it for sure.

Edit2: Since nobody has replied and I posted that quite a while ago, I guess the image really was worse than I thought. In order to sort of rectify this, I removed the tree entirely. I think the image looks cleaner than before.

I agree on the move to remove the tree. THe image looks better w/o it.


...you can expect my image tonight or tomorrow - I have the idea, I just need to find the motivation to look for the stocks...

not my fav image of yours D but i do really like the tie in of the text with the pheonix (i assume that's what is flying). I think the castle just doesn't sit right or something.

I hear ya man. Not my favourite either. I liked the text, I liked the phoenix. I didn't like the rest unfortunately.

Zebra, good luck with the image.

a few things to consider... the mountain and castle look out of place. its all rolling hills and then all of the sudden... BAM! a mountain with a castle. its also placed kinda high in the composition and the greenery of the mountain and hills doesnt match.

the snake is kinda blurry compared to the really contrasty/sharp grass surrounding it.

i have to strain to read the text.

i see where youre going with it though and i like the idea.

my brain is broken, my contacts are dry and I want to nap. It was fun, I appreciate ya battling with me. I guess I'm more of a sprinter than goin' for the distance (this makes sense to me). so yeah.
