Screw a survey. You got too many people saying otherwise in here just to begin with. It's not popular opinion that a chick wants only 5 minutes of the hurky-jerky and calls that a good session.
I understand what you're saying... not all women want that marathon loving. But you know... variations of what you do will lead you to more than 5-30 minutes in any combination. Trust me man, I'm not getting offended, it just feels like you don't quite understand. By average I mean session length. Not average time to get off. It is not unknown for a girl to get off more than 5 times in a session.

No woman is Janie-on-the-spot-5-minutes-to-lift-off-100%-of-the-time, and no guy is perfectly-replicating-that-thing-she-loves-each-and-every-time. And, unless your girl lightens her coffee with Spanish-fly, she's usually going to need more time, again, depending on many factors.

Hey, I can pleasure myself in 5 minutes if I want to, but it's certainly not my preference. Nor any woman that I've ever known. An "average" session (I mean "average" as in common, not middle of a range) for most I would think (well, did think I guess now) is half an hour or thereabouts, like during the week when you're both a bit tired and have work the next day. 5-10 minutes is what you do when the urge hits you as you're walking out the door, or a "sneaky quickie" in the bathroom at a party. ;)

Why is this important? Sex depends from couple to couple, there is no "socially acceptable norm" for duration.
