well done juels!! that's grouse as!! there is only 300 work units to go and we have crunched 30 000 work units!!! we crunch at a rate of 190 or so a day, so in a couple of days we will have done it!!

My UD just stoppped !!! I had about 3500 points en and a lot of time on my counter ! But the last 6 days he wasnt going any further then my 3500 points and was stuck at 12 mins on my new project...even my name was not in the database anymore..cause I RE registered under DaPurno

well. moved to scotland (very very north uk)
got 2 cable connections running as well as 3 computers in my old place so hopefully should be back on track. sorry for not posting here recently but congratulations to starchie and hobbi and others (juels etc) for keeping all this up. brilliant

The computer labs in the college are setup in such a way that i loose the ud agent every time the machine its on is shutdown. although most ppl here just log off the network as opposed to shutting down, and the agent continues to work away so long as there's someone logged onto that machine. so no prizes for guessing whos going round from comp to comp using the guest login to get things going, but trying to do it every day is a real pain in the ass. But since its for a worthy cause i don't mind.
I've been in touch with the students union to try and get support from them before i approach the head lab technician. Its handy that i know the union president, so thats some support gauranteed.
Unfortunately the lab technicians office is on the other campus, so i wont get to it today, but hopefully i'll get to that next week. in the meantime i've sent him an email with information about the project, so hopefully he'll geta chance to get onto it.
