i was pointing out the fact that there ARE haters on this board.
if people have critisism then it should be spelt out clearly, what things it is people dont like and how it can be improved... there is a massive difference between being constructive with critisism and just blantantly saying a site is sh*t simply because they dont like it.

which is what a lot of people have been doing.

I think the main problem that started this off is that all I did was point out some current negatives, maybe if I had said howe amazing whos we 3D was people wouldn't have minded so much, but I have said that plenty of times before when they originally showed up so why say it again.

And if there is anything that I have learned it's that critisism drives people to perfection, it definately helped me improve my work and I have received plenty of critisism good and bad.

C'mon, can't we all get along and respect each other's work and leave it at that? It's a shame that threads turn this way.

and gdstudios. i dont think this thread is turning bad as such, its just getting mis-understood and twisted etc.

i think it would be good if people aksed questions if they dont understand what someone is saying rather than exploding on the attack.

Or, as older, more mature people, we could just accept that people have differing views on things and move on. Just point out good work, get others' views and move on. This thread will not solve anything, nor has any other of the same nature. Should have been closed yesterday.

That's just it. It's tough to tell the context of individual posts online without talking with someone face to face. This is why FK should have more get togethers (preferably some on the East Coast for once). Nevil, most of us know that this was just a misunderstanding and we know that neither you or Onionboy are unreasonable. It's all about context. For the record I'm not a WW hater either, while their aesthetic isn't really my cup of tea I can appreciate their humour and skill with 3d and their web design is improving in leaps and bounds recently. I don't understand why they dumped their old domain but there's nothing wrong with being unorthodox! Best of luck to them.
