Well, I'm working on this: http://www.thecrunge.net/preview/view.php?id=52 of course.
My other project at the moment is a side scrolling shooter in the style of Abuse. There's a preview of it here: http://www.thecrunge.net/preview/view.php?id=38 But I've decided to overhaul alot of the game so far, there's alot of glitches in the current engine, and at the moment it's dog ugly.
I am finally updating my Penguin Chat, and adding some multi-user games to it.
mmm, I still working on my Egyptian Platformer! And I know you have already seen the screenshot. But here it is anyway :)

I now have verticle scrolling with automatic adjusting :) Don't understand? You will have to wait :p The thing that is really keeping me back, is the level design. I havnt had time to design the levels. The code ain't hard for any of the AI, its the design process mixed in with 'school work' ;)
Oh yeah, I have just about finished the tutorials for my site, should be up soon :)
I was working on a samurai game, but, I kinda got bored with it, Ive yet to find a game I really want to see finished and play... but as of right now im working on trying to find another idea, maybe as a chance for some 3d graphics....

I love the retro style...takes me back. Especially like the fruit when you complete a level. Reminds me of Magic pockets on the Amiga. oohh ahh.. oohh ahh (that's the magic pockets music by the way). he he
It's clear evryone is working their butts off here making what are sure to be some of the best games on the net. It is always great to see screenshots of current projects. It is extremely inspiring.
I hope they play as good as they look!! ;)
o.k, if you take a look back at the first page of this thread you will see some screenshots I put up of a game I am working on. I'm afraid I won't be releasing any games for a while even if they are finished because they must all coincide with my new company launch which I'm sure won't be until next year. :rolleyes: My aim is to have two or three games ready by then. :D
o.k, so this is what I have sat on my hardrive in various states:
1. Racing game.
temp graphics at the moment as I am tweaking playability. Have laps and other racers A.I working, so with another solid months work this one could be finished. (yes, that is a chicken in the driving seat)

3. Breakout clone (oh god, not another one)
Yes, I have been unable to resist making the first ever game I played on my Spectrum many moons ago. This version has a twist, but that's why it is taking longer than the other two put together. Not much to look at I'm afraid as graphics are last on the list!

p.s on th upside, by time these games are finished more people will have the minimum spec of 1ghz needed to run these processor munching bad boys!
I'm still working hard on my Tank War game. The AI seems to be the hardest thing, and I can't do anything until the AI is complete. I also have summer holiday here, and that is a lot more fun that working on AI ;)

Yeah the falling bonus' were stolen from Rainbow Islands ( I'd forgotton about Magic Pockets too ) / Bubble Bobble etc ( And the EXTRA from Mr.Do! ).
UXB is going to be more like Rainbow Islands. I'm not the worlds greatest fan of Bomb Jack to be honest, it was daydreams idea to do, so I'm going to make it more like the sort of game I want to play rather than BJ.
strille / Lux it really looks worth the wait :)
Do me a favour though, drop me an email just before you release it so if I've got anything ready I can hold it back so it won't get over looked ;)

Squize > hope it worth the wait (and the hard work) too!!! Though i would see no reason to anybody overlook anything else ... specially when it comes from 1C1P ... you've been proven successfull in your games before, you'll be proven the same after :)

Well, me and my friends are now start working (finally) in a game with temp name "the profecy" it's an action/rpg/suspense game, but unfortunately I can't show images because now are working with the engine, characters and music not graphics yet. Maybe I'll show a demo in the winter of this year, because I'm now very busy.

Well, seeing as i started this beast i might aswell chuck a game or two into the fray ;)
My main project at the moment is a cutesy 'nintendo style' platformer that ive been working on quite heavily for a few weeks... Regular updates / a few screenies / early alpha - are all here
Ive also got that isometric puzzle i posted a month or so back, just waiting on some graphics from kirill for that one... Unfortunatly his system crashed and progress seems to have been lost :( so it might be a while on that front!
Obviously there's felony in the background, which is actually progressing slowly but smoothly.. a few bugs to fix and its getting near the point where i can add some missions in :)
Oh yea, im looking for graphical help on the platformer, lots of art, little time... so if your up for that drop me a PM or a comment in the blog!

A few days ago I started working on a game in flash similar to Jones in the Fastlane (an old computer board game from Sierra, you had to get a job, get happy, money, education. For more info you can do a google search and probably find a download for the game). There isnt much to show yet, I have just been working on the engine, not really any graphics yet. I have never actually finished any of my games but maybe this time I will :) If I work on it as I have for the past few days then in a few days to a week I will have something to show.
Definately looking forward to that game gilman824 :)
I can't count the number of hours burnt away playing Jones back when.... :D

Hey, cheers Squize - much appreciated... I have to say im surprised at the speed ive managed to get it running, the latest version has vector clouds with alpha transparency and it doesnt seem to have hit the framerate at all!
Ive just been playing on the latest version of UXB Kid, seems real nice, profiles system is working great and i can imagine how much of a pain it was as ive created a similair mutli-save system for 'felony' ... Oh yea - i love the gameover screen aswell :) Very stylish.
