I'm in. I'll talk to O, his laptop is down and out, but he may be able to make something work.
Thanks for the invite Dri, looking forward to getting back into it.

NICE!!! Welcome Back Fearless. Glad to see you in on this thing.
Tell O he owes me a freakin' volley!!
is it too late for sign up??
if not then count me in
Wow seems like we have a good many people. Should be very interesting
in. count me.
Will the pairings be random, or will we try to match skill levels? (ie, Fearless vs high skill and not vs one of the first timers).
I'm shaking in my boots.
actually, in a bracket you want the highest seeded/skilled people battling the lowest seeded/skilled people in the early rounds. this prevents heavyweights like gerbick and fearless from going up against each other early on. this is the way all brackets work (football, basketball, etc.) this also makes the road continually harder as your progress through each round. barring an upset (which WILL happen), a participant shouldQuote:

take a look at this page:

see how the #1 seed (the best team) plays the #16 seed (the worst team) in each quad of the bracket. then look what happens to the seeds...see how the #1 and #2 seeds are kept apart until the very end...?
I'm so getting my ass kicked. Dont care. BRING IT!
Ah. I supposed I was just looking at it from a 'Well, at least this way new people don't get creamed at the start' kind of way. But I completely agree with you Nords.
I suppose there are alot of us that will be gone in the first round ;).
don't be like that dawg! bracketville is all ABOUT the upset. remember, people vote on this...it's not some sort of objective scoring. the wisdom of crowds is a powerful, yet unpredictable, beast.Quote:

You know, there are a few people that registered on the forums JUST for this. Pretty huge if you ask me.

Thats cool, I didn't know it was based on voting. I kinda like it that way. Instead of going with a point system.
